Wonderful Caravaggios in a sumptious setting. You can get discounted entry with the Rome Pass. The last daily visiting period was less crowded

“Best gallery - perfect size, fantastic collection”
Reviewed 7 March 2012

I love the way the Borghese gallery operates. You have to make a reservation - for a two hour time slot - they limit the number of people who enter. We took exactly two hours to see the collection. We rented the audio guide and I would highly recommend doing so. It really added to the tour. The variety was great. Better than the Vatican!

We enjoyed the "regular" display PLUS a temporary display of some pieces of the Borghese collection, coming from museum of all over the world.
