it is in a good location off Via Veneto, so it is a safe area, with other nice and very expensive hotels nearby, has good restaurants around it, check the Aurora, feel is the best and not a tourist trap. It is very easy to walk to Spanish Steps and the other main attractions in the city, Fontana de Trevi or further to the Pantheon or the Coliseum.
The hotel is located in the 4th and 5th floors of the building, the access is safe and rooms are pretty nice, shower as such, or curtains in the bath tub that would make the shower or bath more comfortable. My room was big enough for the night we stayed, and we were fortunate to find parking just in front of the hotel. If I return, to Rome I may use it without the car....as for breakfast, was the usual continental type, typical of italian town hotels, but it was fine, no complaints there. The mattress was a bit old, but still we had a good night sleep

The staff are friendly and helpful, the room was clean and tastefully decorated. Our travel agent contacted the hotel in advance, to request 2 double rooms with showers, not baths. We arrived to find that my husband and I had been put in a twin room, with a shower cubicle that was so small, it was almost impossible to get into! There was certainly no chance of leaning over to wash etc! Our daughters were put in single rooms, on a different floor to us!!
We had to pay extra for breakfast, the choice was minimal and the breakfast room was very cramped.
It was overpriced for what is was.

I have visited Rome with my wife and two kids and we were offered a very nice and spacious room (double bed and two singles). The staff was really nice and helpful and always ready to help. Location of the hotel is very convenient because it is 5 mins or so away from the famous Spanish Steps. Breakfast was fair but enough (bread, serials, croissant, coffee, orange juice, water). Another great value for money was the taxi they offered (mercedes) for half the price of the normal tariff. Really enjoyed my stay and I really recommend.

We stayed here for three nights in August. The hotel is in a great location, within easy reach of restuarants and bars and sights such as the Spanish Steps. The rooms are small and a bit dated but they were clean and comfortable, plus the A.C. was great. Breakfast was a little disappointing in that there was a poor selection but what was there (mainly pastries and breads) was tasty.
The staff on the reception desk were very friendly and helpful.
If you're looking for good value accommodation in the heart of Rome, the Hotel Garda is a good option.

This hotel is great for everyone and is in the best location. It is a small and comfortable hotel with very friendly staff who are always there to help. The rooms are lovely with a lot of space inside and both the room and the hotel were always clean and tidy. It is surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars and is only a short walk from the main tourist sights such as the Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. There are always taxi's available too if needed. Me and my friends loved staying here and definitely will be again.
