Negatives: when we arrived to the hotel it looked nothing like the pictures, talk about false advertising. No fancy room with a bath or a nice bed. We arrived and our bed was broken, the room is tiny you can barely move around, there is enough room for one person to move and that's about it.
Our room was crawling with ants, on the floor in the wardrobe and in the bed.
We reported this to reception which to be fair they did change our room the day after. If you struggle to walk I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it is up lots of stairs, unless you get the lift, but it's very old fashioned and I'm not sure it would actually make it upstairs. The towels stunk in both rooms, they smelt damp and so did the bed which was offputting. You can hear everybody and everything in the hotel, can hear the toilet flushing, people talking etc very thin walls!

Slightly more positive: in our new room, which they keep hidden there was a bigger room and a bigger bathroom. Still nothing like the pictures but it was slightly better than previous room.

The hotel itself is in a good location. Lots of shops and bars around, plenty of places to eat. Colloseum is around 15 minute WALK away and you can even walk to the Vatican which takes about a hour but you can go via trevi fountain etc which is good.

The hotel reception staff were very friendly and helped us with our issue
But simply the hotel is not up to standard, especially room 26. Don't be fooled by the pictures as you will get a big shock!

The shower in the picture is the better shower, the other one is half the size!

We stayed here in February. We were very happy for the price we paid. The room was a good sized room with toilet and shower. We had a tv and a radiator to heat the room when it was a bit cooler in the evenings. The room had air con also but we didn't need that. It was fairly warm during the day but not warm enough for aircon. The hotel itself was perfect for us to explore Rome. There was plenty of bars and restaurants close by along with the well known attractions. The staff we came across were all very friendly and helpful - the first night we arrived we met a really friendly chap on reception who gave us loads of information on the local area and things to do. Overall we had a great time in Rome and staying here was great. We would return here yes and would recommend it to others.

I stayed here in September with my parents on a family trip (separate rooms).
I forgot when booking that single in Europe MEANS single (bed size), so had to get used to that. Room was small and basic and with a small and basic bathroom, but bathroom and sheets were clean.
There was an odd smell in the room, that I thought came from using the aircon the first night, but ended up realising it came from the cupboard. This was bad as I could not leave the window open; it opened onto a back walkway and they were painting, so anyone could have reached/come into the room if I'd left the windows open during the day.
Breakfast was fresh and plentyful and they were good about getting ice and air freshener when I asked.
This place has a LIFT; which is very rare in Europe hotels, but it is, of course, tiny and rickety and probably 100 years old! Not good for those that fear elevators shuddering or small spaces, but great if you have heavy luggage!
Due to painting, we could no use outdoor area. On main road in a 10 min walk to most of the attractions and more restaurants than you could throw a stick at.
I would recommend for single female travelers, but wonder if there wasn't better out there for the price...

Room Tip: Room looking over back courtyard

Friendly staff with 24 hour reception and a 10 minute walk from the Termini station. We visited last week and walked to nearly all tourist attractions. Highly recommend this hotel if you are travelling to see the sights :-)

The hotel is situated in a busy road Nazionale lot of noise at night found a bit difficult to sleep sometimes. Located in a beautiful place, walking distance from many beautiful attractions. It does require full renovation, furniture is quite old. Hotel is clean, very small. Lift can only allow 1 or 2 at the time, found it challenging trying to put out stroller, bags, etc. Had to do 3 trips. Staff helpful specially Miguel took the time to explain everything in so much detail. One small tv, the extra single bed is not very comfortable and very noisy, the double bed is comfortable. Breakfasts is basic but has all you need to start the day, cereals, bread, nice coffee, pot of tea, juice, only choice of apples, croissants, one type of yogurt, the little area for breakfast is quite nice. If you are on a budget I would recommend, as is clean and the location is the best.
