Smashing little restaurant with outside tables, inside seating and a hideaway courtyard - what could be better? Panificio Nazzareno is also a bakery and deli. So much choice.

This is one of a handful of restaurants that we come to on our annual trip to Rome, situated out of town in Farnesina. Most of the restaurants in the area are where the locals eat as well as tourists.

The service has always been good and menu is varied and mid-range. We're always so full that we don't make it to dessert. On a Sunday we discovered that they offer a buffet (serve yourself) lunch for a set price. Very good value. Generally we do evenings so if like us you opt to sit in the courtyard spray up first, the mozzies like a snack too. But this is the case wherever one sits out near any greenery.

The staff here are friendly and efficient and the turnaround of tables is quite rapid without feeling rushed.

Sit at the pavement tables to people watch; sit inside if its cool or sit in the terrace for less 'passing traffic'.

For your first morning coffee or a snack this place is a nice modern addition to Ponte Milvio. The shared table open cafe and pastry shop makes it a friendly non traditional place to stop and SIT for breakfast, a coffee or a light snack or sandwich. The service is friendly, the clientele a mix of mostly locals, but the layout and vibe makes you feel you could be in NY, but with better food.

This neighbourhood is outside the city centre but well worth staying there. This is one of several gems. Young, helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere - lots of families earlier in the evening. Serves everything from coffee and cakes to full evening dinner menu. This panificio has a real buzz and is packed with locals - always a good sign.

This was five minutes from our hotel. We walked in its frontage is full of people drinking coffee and eating cakes. Then a winding little corridor passes tiny table and chairs past a display of pizzas. We just had a drink but planned to return for dinner. It was a lovely evening delicious food and lovely wine. The staff are excellent very friendly and professional. Very helpful and pleasant so much so we decided to go again for dinner. The young waiter remembered our taste in wine. Considering the hours they work and volume of customers thats amazing. Its a lovely cosy warm restaurant highly recommend it you wont be disappointed.

The panificio nazzareno is something u must see when in Rome .
Located in one of the best areas of town . They offer an amazing amount of services and the place is just enormous . Its not a tipical panificio as they have also Lunch & Aperitivo . Great assortment of wine & champagne as well as an amazing bar with suites of all types . Really recommended
