Much of the fun of being in Rome is to be near a piazza like Campo de Fiori, Jewish Ghetto food spots, and the Argentine ruins. The B&B is in a beautiful15th century villa with historic architecture and frescos. Justina was very helpful in meeting us upon our arrival and setting us up in our rooms.
The accommodations were on the 2nd floor (3rd level). The rooms were tastefully decorated and the bathrooms are Rome standard. An improvement in the linen service should be considered by the management as the towels were thin, grayish and rough with a mildew odor as though rack dried without ventilation.
An adjacent bell tower kept us aware of the time each morning. The B&B is quite secure with all the street noise not noticeable once you are inside.
The breakfast at Casa Banzo is basic fare whether you purchase or negotiate it in the room price there are other options to consider in the area. Forno bakery is around the corner, which is excellent.
Great location, historic villa ,and friendly Justina make this a top of the list consideration.More
