Stayed here 3 nights last week. Only 25 or so rooms. Beds were kingsize and some rooms can take an extra single. Small elevator that can hold 2 or 3 with suitcases but very adequate for a small hotel. Our room had small stocked fridge. Very nice continental breakfast with cereals, hard boiled eggs, meats, cheeses, breads and pastries, juices and coffees and teas. Even could have cappiccino at no charge. Very accommodating staff. Owner is there so that was nice. Price was 150 euro a night plus 2 euro per person tax per night. But it was in a great area and very safe. Only about 7-8 blocks walk from Vatican City area. We arrived from a cruise ship and we were able to get into the rooms pretty quickly after we arrived about 11AM. Towels very large and very nice bathroom. Free wi-fi if you had your own computer and could use in our room but minimal charge if using theirs located in basement next to breakfast room. Would definitely stay again!

Room Tip: We were on 2nd floor in back, Room 214. Some rooms had blackout shades but we didn't. Friends had room 2 just up from lobby and they had blackout shades. Small hotel so all rooms close to elevator. Each room had own air conditioning unit.

We stayed 5 nights mid-April, 2012. Lovely experience. It started when we arrived about 10 a.m. straight from overnight flight to Rome, expecting to be too early for check-in but wanting to leave our luggage. Instead, they offered an early check-in if we could wait for about 30 min while they ensured its readiness. In the meantime, they offered cappuccino while waiting. It was the best cappuccino of my life! It's a smaller boutique-y kind of hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. Our room, 329, was spacious (for Europe) and very comfortable. It was nice there was a small elevator so we didn't struggle with getting luggage upstairs. There is also a rooftop terrace with public access and we got into the habit of bringing a glass of wine up there to relax in the late afternoon. The breakfast buffet had something for everyone: good breads, yogurt, fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, cereals, juices and wonderful cappuccino and coffee.

We picked the hotel due to its proximity to our son's student apt. I know a lot of people would prefer to stay in the historic part of Rome, but this location is still convenient for tourists. The hotel is walking distance to Vatican City and less than 2 blocks from the Metro. This was our first time to Rome and so did a lot of touring of the city. We did most of it by foot. But the Metro was our back-up, coming back from the more distant locations.

The one thing I missed was a place to get a drink. There was what looked like a small bar in the front reception area but the smallness and proximity to the desk doesn't really make it a conducive place to relax. I never saw it being used, so don't know if we could even have gotten a glass of wine there. So instead, we bought a bottle of wine and uncorked it up on the roof terrace. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood, so no shortage of options.

Room Tip: Room 329--queen plus twin bed. Spacious per European standards. Don't forget you there's public access to roof terrace on 4th floor.

We stayed here 4 nights Mar 4-8, 2012. We asked for a balcony room, but instead we got one of their larger rooms, which was just fine. We found the room to be very comfortable, cleaned every day. Linens and bath towels were excellent quality. The Staff was very, very helpful and gave us excellent dinner recommendations every night - all within a couple blocks. Metro right around the corner. Breakfast was beautiful: pastries, cereal and milk, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, American coffee, expresso and cappichino. Nice spacious dining room. The elevator is small, but typical European lift - no problems. We enjoyed our stay immensely, and would stay there again. Thanks for a wonderful visit!

Room Tip: We were in room 329, nice and quiet. Slept with the window open.

It is a small hotel that is just renovated. Everything looks and feels new . Rooms look very pretty but they are small . Breakfast is great with excellent cappuccino ! Good value for money for 60-80 euros per night . Great location . The only thing that still needs renovation is the thin reception guy. A family owned hotel.
