“One rude place”
Reviewed 17 October 2011

We were here with a group on October 9 . When a backpack was stolen from the lobby the desk staff never helped us. They were very rude and did not care. This was their everyday attitude. There is no security cameras there.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. It is one block from the central train station ("Terminale") so very convenient to the subway and taxi stands, sights, etc. The staff all speak very good English. The front desk was as helpful as one could ever hope. The rooms were very nice & clean, our bathroom was large and very nicely equipped. The continental breakfast had a wide variety of delicious foods, nothing gourmet, but very nice. We hope to stay here again someday! (The beds are extra firm, but we found that throughout France and Italy.)

Room Tip: You might ask for a corner room when booking - 2 windows make it very nice.

I really cant imagine why anyone would review this hotel with even three stars. There are so many better options in Rome in nicer areas with better rooms and for a cheaper price. I decided to stay here for the night as I had an early flight out the following morning. Unfortunately I was virtually unable to sleep as there was a lot of corridor noise and external noise. The staff arent unfriendly but certainly dont offer any information re breakfast times etc.
The rooms are certainly very clean which is a positive.

We were in Rome only long enough to see the main sites, the location was great as we arrived and departed from the train station. Breakfast was good, rooms were clean, the roof top garden was lovely at sunset. A reasonable walk to the Colosseum but far from the Vatican, we went everywhere on foot.

THe Hotel Nord Nuova Roma provided, just around the corner from the major transportation hub, provided excellent room accomodations and service. It's buffet breakfast is among the best we have ever had. The rooftop restaurant is romantic and reasonable in price and offers a great view of the city. We'll stay there again!

Room Tip: Contact the hotel directly and negotiate a better rate.
