Hotel Lancelot gave its guests a fantastic start to New Year.
A pre-dinner glass of champagne whilst we were entertained with music and song from a soprano, pianist, accordionist, jazz singer and guitarist. This was followed by a gourmet meal accompanied with Frascarti and Chianti. As midnight struck we were whisked to the hotel balcony terrace to watch a wonderful firework display and more champagne, then downstairs for partying and dancing.
The Khan family and their staff onced again made this visit a super experience.

We spent the 25th of December here. I was a little sad to not be spending the holidays at home, but the staff at the Lancelot made us feel incredibly welcome. We ended up eating Christmas dinner with them and then playing dice games afterward with the family. Anyways if going to Rome I highly recommend this hotel. Fantastic location, staff, and accommodations.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Colosseum

Spent 5 nights here in Nov. 2011. Location is great if you want to be near the Colessium and Roman Forum. If that's not your thing, there isn't much else nearby. Hotel is very clean and the front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We had a terrace view of the collessium and the terrace was HUGH! It had plants and flowers in addition to a table and chairs. EXCELLENT! My only complaint is the bathroom...there are no shelves on which to store toiletries, which got annoying after a while. Buffet breakfast was nice, although the coffee should be better than it is.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a terrace view of the colesseum. It is worth it!!!

This hotel is located up a quiet street near the Coloseum and a Metro stop. Walking distance to many of the sites around the Roman Forum. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were very modern. Breakfast was very good for our family of four - three adults and a teen.

A pure find in Rome. Well located, beautifully maintained, a kind, helpful and generous staff and terrific breakfasts.

The owning Khan family are true hoteliers who have run this wonderful place for years. They are tremendously, and, as importantly, accurately, helpful regarding any site, location, restaurant, etc.

You couldn't find a better place to stay in Rome.
