During our unguided foot tour of Rome, we came across this local establishment. I found out it was one of the oldest standing osterias in the city (1929). A non english speaking server came out to greet us and we sat outside as it was lovely. I am a foodie, so I didn't need translation with the menu. We had bolognese, lamb, antipasti and wine. Our server reminded me of my grandfather (as he was at least 65+) and kept poking fun with another older gent sitting across from us and speaking italian. It turns out the gent is a local and frequents the osteria often. It was fun to watch these two during our lunch. What a great experience. And the food was great.

Good food at reasonable prices. It helps to cross the river. Large pasta portions. The outdoor terrace is a bit tight but it works.

Had just arrived in Rome and stumbled across this little restaurant. We had the set tourist menu which was very good value. Food was good especially the pasta. Ended up going back later with friend as they had booked it not realising we had already been. Service a bit erratic but food good

We enjoyed lunch here on a hot July afternoon. The breeze blowing through the shaded outdoor seating was refreshing. The owner was present and very sweet even when we couldn't communicate all that well because of our poor Italien. The children loved coloring on the butcher paper table clothes. The food was delicious even if the portions were small. The prices were high given the portion sizes. The bread basket filled mostly with packaged bread sticks was ridiculously expensive and charged per person.

Quality and quantity in line with Price.
Staff especially the old Guy, very chaotic and forgetful, time for him to retire.
