Recently we stayed at Hotel Santabrigida for seven nights, and we enjoyed our stay!!
All in walkingdistance from the hotel are interesting things to see, a metro station, many shops, and lots of nice places to eat, so it's a perfect location!!

The staff is very friendly!!
Every night I got a bowl of ice cubes brought to my room to cool my sore knee, thanks Nishantha for being so helpful, without you I couldn't have made it up the Vesuvio!!
And when my travel compagnion's wallet got stolen on the train (BEWARE!), and we got told by the police to return the next day to report it, while we were flying home that day, the hotel staff provided him whit a letter to show his insurance company, and that helped him to get his money back.
So THANKS guys, for taking such good care of us!!

This hotel is very centrally located and has restaurants and tons of shops nearby. The location is not very easy to find as it is on the third floor of a building so you do not see it from the front Street. You will need to be buzzed in from the front desk which you can call from the side of the door where the hotel is.

Once we arrived we were greeted by the front desk however we did have to lug our luggage up from the first floor which is not truly an easy task. There is a small elevator but be aware that when entering the first floor it is almost like a vacant parking lot so you may not think you are at the right hotel.

The rooms while spacious are tremendously hot as the air-conditioner is a whisper of air. The staff however is very friendly in the mornings with the breakfast spread that they provide. There are fresh fruits and juices, coffee, water, selection of Italian meats and pastries and every morning they provide you with fresh sfogliatelles! It was quite a lovely stay however the air conditioning was truly a major major inconvenience for myself and my family as we woke up every morning as though we were being baked in an oven. We did make mention of this several times to the front desk and while the female staff seemed very concerned and helpful the remaining staff seemed unable to empathize or provide any relief.

This may be a wonderful hotel during the winter however starting summer I would probably suggest another location.

Thank you for sharing your opinion and your experience at Hotel Santa Brigida. We are very sorry you had this inconvenience with air conditioning and it's very strange indeed. Actually, after spring time We finally had to switch the system to summer, and it was about 2 weeks ago so it's working correctly since then, before that was still too cold. We are grateful for your kind words and wish to meet you again

A photographer friend and myself stayed here for a few nights before flying home to the states and let's just say we were NOT impressed... First of all, finding the hotel was quite the problem as it is in a building with little to NO signage, and without our very friendly taxi driver we would have been lost for hours. Once we finally did arrive, you need to use the call box to call up and have them BUZZ you in.... To say it was a little "scary" would be an understatement... You walk right into an open air space with no direction of where to go... We found the very small and "vintage" elevator and were finally on our way up... Upon arriving, they take your passport, which we did NOT have to provide to our hotel in San Marco, and then led is to our very small but stylish room. The room itself was nicely decorated and had a really beautiful SMALL terrace, which overlooked the main street and had some great views, BUT the room was quite tight and small, even for just two American girls. After taking a quick nap we decided to get ready and shower to hurry off to the amazing Naples Opera House for the musical we had tickets for that evening, and to our very unfortunate surprise, there was absolutely NO HOT WATER.... We asked the front desk why and they let us know that the entire building, including this very TINY boutique hotel we were in, had NO HOT WATER, and they did not anticipate it being fixed for several days... Not once was there an apology... They literally acted as though it was common and not a big deal. So we both got to take ice cold showers for the next two days of our stay... The service from the staff was cold, and we both felt like we chose the WRONG hotel to stay in after about 10 minutes of arriving. I would definitely not stay here again for sure...

Room tip: Great views on a VERY NOISY street... If you are a lite sleeper - look elsewhere!

Love this hotel. The service is excellent..Luigi front desk very polite and helpful..He actually remembered me from 4 yrs ago..Location is perfect .right near Via Toledo , and the Galleria. Have stayed before love the creativity of this hotel..Rooms are spacious, balcony,.modern,comfortable. Having the main shopping street at your doorsteps is dangerous. Will definitly recommend this hotel for all reasons mentioned..Getting in late at night, i was so hungry, the man.at reception went and got me some biscuits etc..How sweet..The hotel has an awesome breakfast and a lift. Thankyou once again..
