Paid for a quad room for 3 of us for the extra space but we're given a double with an extra single bed at first. When challenged, they did move us to a quad room which was very spacious but was a bit of a jaunt from the pool and reception. The room was basic but clean with good air conditioning. Gem was the pool which was great and very relaxing. Breakfast was good but was a bit predictable after the first day. We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner and it was good if not spectacular.
The saving grace was the staff in reception who were fantastic and couldn't have been more helpful. Particular praise for Fortuna who went out of her way on a number of occasions to help us with taxis, trips to the Amalfi coast etc and even sorted out Napoli football tickets.
The wrong side for Pompei, Vesuvius and the Amalfi coast but for a quiet relaxing short break by a pool this hotel wouldn't be the worst choice.More
