Just back from a 2 night stay with a large school group. Yes, the hotel is old and there aren't many mod cons but the staff are helpful and genuine and the view form the dining area is amazing. There are plenty of negative reviews about the hotel but I have nothing but praise for it. I don't go on holiday to sit in a bloody hotel room on my wifi. If that is your bag then choose some over priced 5 star down the road where reception staff will probably grunt at you.
