I recently took 31 students to the hotel. It was clean and what we required. Anything that wasn't quite to our need was sorted quickly by the hotel with a smile and with no trouble. The service could not have been better. The food was exactly what the children wanted and the staff checked the day before if what was to come would suit. A very welcoming experience.

Cheap but it is clean and fine for just sleeping. You will meet the kindest friendliest staff here, and surprisingly they make incredible pasta dishes at the restaurant. Not a great location and not great for couples.

There is no cell service in the room and the wifi barely works in the lobby. The breakfast was hard boiled eggs, cornflakes, and lunch meat. The rooms are nasty and the beds are extremely hard and thin. My room had no hot water and there was barely any plugs in the room. It was just gross and is not in a prime location. It is very outdated and dingy. Many things are broken within the hotel and the rooms. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD SLEEP OR EXPERIENCE.

This was a nice size hotel, but I honestly did not spend enough time at it to give it a great review. Although it was spacious, the shower was VERY small and the bathroom layout was not convenient. The room was a nice size with a balcony overlooking some vegetation. The beds were alright as far as comfort goes. The location is not close to town, and although it is a nice downhill walk going into town, the trudge back up is not as pleasant. You could take a bus to get to and from town, but it was a confusing talking to the staff so we decided it would be easier to walk.

Well, it's what you expect from a relatively cheap hotel. But overall, it wasn't too bad. The decor was a bit dated and seemed a bit old fashioned. I stayed in a 4 person room with a few friends as this was part of a school trip. And this week was great!

Back to the rooms, although they were out dated, they were a comfortable side for all of us to fit. The bunkbeds on one side of the room were okay but they were very loud and squeaky. They also felt a bit unstable from the top. The double bed was a decent size. We had plenty of room between two people. Our bathroom was fine although the showers could have done with a bit of refurbishment. The corridors leading up to the rooms where very gloomy and actually quite scary in the middle of the night!

The food is kind of what you expect. For breakfast, we had cereal, really hard (probably stale) bread that was probably left over from the week before. We were provided with a packed lunch everyday as we were out and about. These were very basic. A sandwich, drink, an Apple, and maybe a price of cake. And for dinner, we had a bowl of pasta to start every day (and another crusty roll), a done kind of meat and potatoes for the main course. These were a good size portion and there was often too much to eat. From the resturant, there is a great view across the bay and of mount Vesuvius.

The staff were very friendly. Although speaking to them in English was a slight problem as they spoke very little of it.

The hotel is in a great position. It is just up the hill from the old town of Sorrento. It's probably just a 5 minute walk down the hill. The facilities at the hotel were basic. There was limited WiFi in the lobby area only. And there was also a small pool. This was great for the summer afternoons when the weather got very hot. But on one edge of the pool is a very large ledge that is very easy to loose things down. Things such as beachballs which seem to go down there very frequently. But the friendly staff went down to get it for us 3 or 4 times.

Overall, the hotel is a great hotel of you don't want to spend much time there and plan to do other things outside of the hotel.
