A beautiful hotel in everyway. The decor, the view, the location and the service was perfect! We accidentally left cash in the safe and they mailed it back to the USA without us even asking them to! The complimentary wine is a wonderful treat after a day of exploring! You will love this place!

Per above title, my wife and I spent three nights at the Bellevue Syrene - quite simply the room, the property, and the service were absolutely outstanding

It's not cheap but the quality of the experience is definitely worth it - and if your going to stay make sure you do it right and get one of the more upscale rooms you will be very happy you did.

My wife and I were there off season and while I cannot say a whole lot of good things about Sorrento (other than it is a good central point for day trips to Pompeii and Capri) - the hotel really is phenomenal, from the free cocktails pre and post dinner, to the great little spots to lounge and read, to the views from the room private balconies and dining rooms, to the huge rooms - we are not normally a couple that spend much time lounging at a hotel property during a vacation as we are pretty active we found ourselves spending a lot of enjoyable relaxing time at the property.

If I ever go back there is no question where I will be staying

Room Tip: 408 was unreal

The old entrance, in no way, gave a clue about the fabulousness inside. The reception area was small but breathtaking. The rest of the hotel was a lovely classic old place with artistic modern punches. Their use of color was inspiring and intriguing. Gorgeous.
Check-in: Fast. Staff here a little stilted and not forth-coming with information llike weather, ferry information. They were vague at best.
The other staff: Mariano, Franco and Salvatore made our stay wonderful. They manned the restaurants and in-between snack/hors d'oeuvres and drink areas.
Breakfast: Plentiful, incredible variety, delicious. Beautiful, big breakfast room with an incredible view. Included in our room rate.
Dinner: Unfortunately it was one of the worst dinners we had in Sorrento. It was expensive and the shrimp in my dish was mealy. Disappointing.
All-day snacks: included in room rate was a wonderful plus. This was from breakfast on and changed as the day went on. Their cakes and biscuits were yummy. The prosecco, wine and other cocktails flowed freely after 5pm and their hot hors d'oeuvres were delicious. Really nice touch.
Our room #403 was simply gorgeous. Blues on blues. We had two balconies that looked out to the ocean. The bathroom was beautiful too. Amenities were first rate, enough for us to tote a few things back to the States!
We can't wait to return to this hotel in future. Sorrento is a great starting point to visit the Amalfi Coast.

Room Tip: All rooms have different color schemes. I bet any room would be fantastic. We loved our beautiful blue room #403. I'd definitely spring for a room with a view here.

We loved verything about the Bellevue Syrene. It's situation overlooking the Bay of Naples across to Vesuvius is gorgeous. All rooms have balconies overlooking the water. The Syrene is in town, a short walk from restaurants and sites. The rooms, including bathrooms, are large and simply but beautifully decorated. Staff are professional, charming, and able to handle any situation. I was ill while there, and the concierge handled it beautifully. The overnight front desk clerk made us cappucino while we waited for our 5:30 a.m. airport transfer. The Syrene is a former private palazzo, which means it is smaller and more intimate than many other hotels in town. We give it our highest recommendation.

Room Tip: All rooms face overlook the water.

We stayed here as our daughter was married in Sorrento and chose this hotel for her reception. I cannot rate it highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble especially for Franco who looked after us on the day. It was everything we hoped it would be. The setting was superb, the service faultless, the rooms were unique and comfortable, the breakfast was lovely and the sunbathing area was a peaceful escape from the nearby surroundings. The honeymoon suite is amazing and well worth the expense for a special occasion.
