“Italian experience in Abruzzo.”
Reviewed 24 August 2015 for a stay in August 2015

We arrived at night after a short drive from the airport so didn't fully appreciate the views until we awoke the next morning.
We were greeted by the most amazing picture of the fields of olive trees, grape vines and the gran sasso mountains.
We found the Villa to be well equipped with a modern kitchen and coffee making facilities. We enjoyed a coffee and freshly picked grapes, pears and figs from the sun terrace for breakfast which was a real treat and we took in the stunning scenery.
The bed was comfy, so comfy we struggled to get out of it and the shower was piping hot and had a decent amount of power.
We found the plastic plates etc and the cool box invaluable to take our picnic to the beach which was a short drive away.
There are some lovely locals shops selling fresh fruits and vegetables. We bought some great meat and wine and had a barbeque in the garden one night. There was some very tasty olive oil provided which we took advantage of and understand the olives were grown at the Villa.
Also useful to note is that Wifi is available and worked in the garden so enabled us to sit in the sun and surf the net.
Although you do need a car to get around we did go for a walk and find a good bar to rest at. The local restaurant Agriturismo was fantastic we paid €25 for a feast that we couldn't finish but were given the remainder to take out and eat the following day.
We would fully recommend this beautiful, well equipped Villa to stay and experience the flavour of Italy.

“Fabulous Villa with Amazing Views”
Reviewed 18 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

We spent 5 nights at this fabulous villa. Perfect location to explore the region. Spacious with all the amenities you would need. Welcome package and Wifi were a bonus too. The locals were extremely friendly and accommodating. The best part were the views and sunsets from the gardens. Will definitely return. Absolutely recommend!

“A charming, cosy Italian villa with stunning views over vinyards, olive groves, medieval towns and mountains - just 25 minutes f”
Reviewed 6 November 2013 for a stay in October 2013

We arrived on a foggy October evening to find La Colleta warm & cosy and very well equipped. The following morning was clear and the views from the terrace were stunning. Just a short drive away were a supermarket, fruit & vegetable shop and a butchers. The drive to the medieval towns took us past vinyards and olive groves. Back for lunch on the terrace and to relax with a glass of wine just looking at the view - What more could we want...?
We hope to come back again soon.
