Owner description: A bike tour is the most original way to discover Valencia, its streets, squares, monuments and most important historical sites. Visitors have the opportunity to not only take pictures, but to also experience history, feeling a warm sea breeze around their faces, whilst passing through the old and new Valencia and its beautiful gardens.Valencia owns one of the most unusual gardens in the world located in a former riverbed. After the last destructive flood of the interiors of the city, the town council decided to divert and transform the river into a 13km long garden passing through the city offering its citizens and visitors a wide variety of recreational and cultural activities at any time of the year.

We thoroughly enjoyed a bike tour with Christa of valence Guias Day Tours...it was very easy to work with Maria in setting up and 'customizing' our tour for 4 adults, all of the arrangements were detailed and Christa was right on time and assisted with getting/sizing our bikes. She guided us for several hours, was very personable, informed, entertaining, and did a great job of leading our group over miles of bike paths, streets, and squares.
We saw more than we anticipated, got a terrific look at old and new Valencia, and could not have been happier with Christa and Maria!

very easy, non-strenuous biking around the city, mostly down the river/park. it was nice to see the science museum without having to make a special trip down, as I wanted to see the building but had no reason to go inside. I enjoyed biking around the city and love doing bike tours. it was a fun way to see who else was traveling there and to see various parts of Valencia without needing to know where you are going. I also got lost and was late, but they were very accommodating and helped me catch up with the group. if you have a morning to do this it's a highly recommended way to get your bearings in the city before you go out on your own.

We really enjoyed the bike tour around Valencia with Valencia Guias. We took longer to find it than we thought we would and almost missed it arriving ten minutes late but they swiftly got us checked in and on bikes. The guide was very knowledgable and took us around the city safely and smoothly even though it was quite a large group. The flat garden made out of the old river bed running along the whole city makes for an ideal bike path and it was fantastic to see Valencia by bike. Do make sure you buy some water on the way and have a bit of money to buy a drink at the midpoint.

We did the bike and tapas tour and had a really enjoyable time. If you wanted better value for money we recommend not bothering with the tapas part, as it is a very common tapa (some cheese, meat, a small piece of Spanish tortilla and a dip with some dipping sticks) which you could easily try for a lot less money. The ride was in the old river which is now a park and is used as a fitness area by many of the locals. It was a great ride among the trees and people, on a bike path so there were not many obstacles to look out for. You see a lot of the new area of Valencia- the art and science district, and also parts of the old city. A good way to get a feel for Valencia.
