Having visited this Hotel last October for one week we decided to enjoy the comforts once more and have just returned from a two week stay. The service, staff in all areas and the food were first class. Hotel is one of the most comfortable we have stayed in whilst abroad and the maid service is excellent. A bottle of wine in the dining room is as little as 7 euros but a further two euros will get you a nice bottle of Siglo. Whisky in the bar (nightcap) is a pricey 5 euros for a rather small amount but try their smooth 103 brandy for a mere 2.80 euros(I am teetotal by the way but hubby likes a nightcap). In the colder winter evenings you can enjoy dancing in the hotel, although the group are good the music is repetitive. Some further entertainment is provided by Flamenco dancers, magician etc.
The lounge offers large screen with football including most English and even Scottish premier games. Unlike many hotels there is Sky Sports and ESPN not too mention the showing each evening of British soaps i.e. Emmerdale!! This Hotel opened in 1973 we were told by reception, so it is old world traditionally Spanish but absolutely spotlessly clean. The Hotel is on level ground for those recycled teenagers who are not keen on steep hills. Central and a few minutes onto the promenade. All rooms with sunny balconies and the sun shone very day during our visit in February, wonderful. Last not least great shower and hot water!. We are planning our next visit already.
