Just returned from a 4 nights stay at this hotel.

Hotel/ Rooms - were adequate and perfectly clean everything you needed fridge, hairdryer and toiletries. Breakfast was just what we needed - continental and and small selection of hot food which consists of:bacon and sausages, scrambled eggs and beans - all food was of high quality

Location: perfect!! 3 mins walk to the beach and centre of old town plenty of restaurants and bars nearby - we ate in the old town every night, then headed to the new town for the main nightlife which is a 20mins walk or around 9 euros in a taxi.

Whilst in Benidorm we visited - mundomar,
Benidorm palace and we did a jeep safari tour to the waterfalls and mountains, all was great and really made our trip to benidorm!!

If in Benidorm again we would definitely stay at this hotel - perfect for what we needed.

We found this hotel in a very convenient location, just down a hill and you go past the tapas alley, down the other way you go down to the shop area and just up a bit was the plaza, and the church. The rooms were very clean and light and airy, was a little disappointed not to have a full balcony as it was about 6 inches in depth so at least you could just stand out on it, air con and wifi worked well, was a couple of nights noise from the street as the streets are very narrow the noise seems to travel up, Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good lots of pastries, toaster coffee machine yogurts plenty of choice. We would stay again fairly small and friendly, had 2 lifts and a roof terrace with a shower and views, safety deposit was in room and free, also had a small fridge.

We stayed here for five nights mid June 2017, as we had never stayed in the old town before. We usually stay in the Don Pancho, but fancied a change.
The hotel is lovely and clean, rooms a nice size, kettle and cups available from reception with no charge. The room has a fridge handy for water & milk if you need any.
The breakfast were nice, mainly cold meats & cheese but there was a toaster and a smaller selection of chopped bacon, small sausage & scrambled eggs in the warm section most importantly they have a coffee pod machine with good decaf available.
The location is great, one two minute walk and you are at the point where the mojito bar and the excellent Sherry's bar is,
A five minute walk the opposite way and your in the marina area, or down in centro.
I read on here before we went that there was a few gay bars around, but that doesn't bother me and they don't open while late and we don't stay out that late anymore.
There was a couple of times that I could here drunken revellers walking past about 4am, but I was on the first floor and wearing earplugs cured that. My sister was on the 4th floor and didn't hear anything although she is older & deaf.
The hotel has a roof terrace with a few seats, an outdoor shower, and gym, but it is very hot up there, but that's what you go on holiday for I suppose.

If you are getting to the hotel from the airport by coach you will dropped off down the hill and have to walk up just a couple of minutes, but we had a taxi to and from the hotel and both made it up the collect is.
If i was thinking about going back to Benidorm anytime soon, I would definitely go back to this hotel.
But I think there are far more holiday destinations out there to see, so it may be a while before I return.

3rd visit to the Rocamar and it never disappoints, superb location for Mal Pas beach and the tapas alley. Spotlessly clean hotel with welcoming friendly staff and a decent breakfast too. We went for the superior room which is well worth the small extra cost for the increase in room size.
Will be back again !!

Our second visit. Wouldn't stop anywhere else in the old town. Basic but spotless, room cleaned every day, clean towels and toiletries replenished every day as well. Breakfast lovely with an amazing choice of pastries, cheeses, meats, fruits, cereals, breads, yoghurts, beans, bacon and sausages. Fresh juice and a great selection of coffees and teas. Fab location just one street back from the front. Beautifully run by lovely friendly staff. Hotel nice and quiet and tastefully furnished. Nice roof terrace with loungers and shower. Very reasonably priced. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We always book directly with the hotel so we can have a terrace
