Tapas are wonderful & Spanish cuisine can be extraordinary but sometimes you just need a great bowl of pasta. Menomale was recommended to us by a local with a passion for food and we were delighted by this super casual eatery located near the University.
We started by sharing a simple caprese salad and Margherita pizza and then ordered our own pastas as main courses. Each was delicious, rigatoni amatriciani, spaghetti carbonara, and tagliatelle Bolognese. For desserts 3 Italian classics an affogato, tiramisu and lemon sorbet. A satisfying meal from start to finish.
Service was competent, warm and quick. This is a family friendly spot and considering the quality of the food, a very good value. FYI, it can get a bit loud in the back room of the restaurant with the music volume turned up.
All in all, very glad to have been a guest at this charming neighborhood spot.
