This is (looking) the most sanitary of them all, but it doesn't have a vibe, the prices are a bit jacked up and seams like a shop with souvenirs (meat is also included in this category) for tourists. There are sufficient options for snack or lunch.

The top terrace looks great and probably in the evenings (if it is open) you can have a good time there.

Enjoy !

We stopped off to kill some time before a dinner reservation and had a good time.

At around 7 a lot of the stands were closed but there was plenty of choice of restaurant/bar options. We took a seat at the bar in the bodega type place on the second floor. We enjoyed and beer and snack, service and atmosphere were good. As with most of Madrid’s markets this place is pretty touristy but not particularly expensive and service and ambience are good-not overpriced and still good quality.

The market is small ans does not contain many options. Also, It is very pricey. Save your time and money. if you don't pass by the market on your way, you really don't have to visit the place.

Quality of the place also means to give the customer time to digest, to enjoy. Maybe staff should learn that?

Bodega looked good, with nice range of tapas and a few people. Pressure started early on, with a suggested upgrade of my rioja to a better one, then an attempt to upgrade our two croquettes order to two with grated truffle and a further eight or so mixed ones. Succumbed to the two with truffle (mistake - couldn’t taste any truffle) and had to insist on two tapas, not the multitudinous croquettes. Bill was wrong, and then I waited 5 minutes to pay a corrected version. Suggest going up a floor to improve the service and save some money.
