This is is a great walk and not too far to walk from the main centre of Madrid.
The walk takes in the river in Madrid and must span at least 5 miles and believe me when its 36° you really appreciate the various bars and restaurants scattered around.
If you're quick you might get to see the remains of Atletico Madrids old stadium, which at the time of writing they were demolishing it.
A must do walk near the heart of Madrid.

Chill out even when it's hot in Madrid, amid trees, grassland and lakes. Matches the beauty of this ancient city.

This is a big park. It is very good for just about anyone, really, but particularly for families. It is a fairly new park, but the many water features and other inclusions make it a great place to visit and have fun. You can do several activities, you can play various games, ride a bike, walk, run, sit, lie down, feed the birds, whatever. It's a lot of fun!

The park is huge, you can rent a small row boat also, just to walk around it, feed the ducks and watch people makes it a real relacing place to see.

A great place to take kids especially at the weekend when there is a lot of atmosphere. A long esplanade with lots of kids parks along the way. Lots of people joggin or biking. Lots of families having fun and picnics. Place for all to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city.
