Traditional restaurant offering a selection of traditional Spanish dishes based on high quality fish and meat products. The place is very small and busy so it is recommended to reserve. The service was pro and relatively fast.

We were a group of 14 and ate in an attractive private dining room at the back of the restaurant. We shared all the courses in groups of 4-5 (the meal had been pre-arranged) and they were all delicious: tortilla, croquetas, grilled vegetables, melt-in-mouth 'pulpo', a rice dish with giant prawns, 'delicias de merluza' (small nuggets of hake lightly fried in flour) and a selection of desserts.

Service was friendly and efficient, and we stayed pretty late talking around a table decorated with small multi-coloured carafes of different 'aguardientes'......

This little, white-tableclothed restaurant in the Chamberi neighborhood of Madrid brought me back to Pontevedra, or one of the other great little towns in rias baixas. Our group started off by sharing grilled artichokes, fried squid rings, and the never to be missed pulpo a feira (spiced octopus over potatoes), all washed down with a tasty albariño. For main course we all ordered fish and I was certainly not disappointed with the supremely prepared turbot (rodaballo). For dessert, we shared some creme-filled crepes, which were delectable. As is customary, we finished the evening by consuming too much orujo! This restaurant is a nice change of pace if you want an excellent quiet meal. Definitely worth a repeat visit!
