Walked to the park after lunch, very large and central location to the city. Lots to see and relax and enjoy, the crystal palace to the open pond with people rowing boats etc. We enjoyed it

This really is a lovely park, perfect for escaping from the city hustle and bustle. The park appears huge, stretching across an undulating landscape, full of mature trees. It's a great place to relax and read or book, go for a run, or just take a walk.
There's quite a few cafes throughout the park to take a break.
The boating lake and rose garden are also worth visiting whilst you're there.

A beautifully kept Park right in the heart of Madrid. Once you are in it, the noise of the traffic just disappears and you can freely wander around. There are statues, Lakes, the Cristal Palace, little cafes, and all for free. Its easy to get to as well.

It was a lovely sunny late September Saturday and locals and visitors alike mingled along the cycle and path ways. The lake is a bit of a disappointment (not so big and decidedly murky, but the grounds and statues more than make up for that. Lovely way to spend an hour or so on a nice day!

Certainly if you are coming to Madrid this place is worth the exploration. You could spend all day here looking at the activities and working out or just strolling in the park. A must visit.
