We spent 3 hours exploring this museum. We did not have enough time to see all of the exhibits. The layout is great. Easy to navigate. The audio tour is helpful. The modern pieces were most interesting to us. Learned a lot about Dali and his art journey, which was really interesting. Highly recommend taking the time to visit this museum.
Definitely buy tickets online, ahead of time. The line to get in was long, but with prepaid tickets you can walk right in.

It feels kind of wrong to say so, but I visited only to see the Dali collection, and the Guernica and Picasso exhibition. That took about an hour, and I am not sure I could appriciate much more after that. It was a very mighty impression, thinking about all the history behind Guernica. The web site of the museum is very helpful for planning purposes.

I did not find many interesting paintings as compared with El Prado. If you want to see Guernica, well this is the place. The most interesting were the Picasso's and Dali's paintings. I wont go back

The kids were a bit skeptical about the museum when we told us we were going there. But when we visited, they were very impressive. For some strange reason, modern art is always easier for Children to appreciate, even this time.

Many classical artists from the beginning of the 20th century are represented.

Picasso's Guernica is an experience of it's own.
