So we stayed 4 nights in Sabatini Suites, here it goes:

- Perfectly located just at the limit of old center which means close to everything but not so busy

- Staf is helpful and friendly, all smiles. Victoria from the kitchen / breakfast is such a nice lady, congratulations for her, just look her up you will find tips for Madrid ...

- High quality ammenities and services overall

Would reccommed to anyone!

The position of the hotel is ideal. Close to the metro in twi different directions, very close to the royal palace as well as in walking distance to calle Mayor, Plaza Mayor and entire area. Tne same as withing walking distance to Gran Via.The rooms are comfortable and have a kitchenette which makes it very user friendly. Breakfast is pretty basic but good. Service in the dining room by Vicky is just wonderful. If you rent a car, there is a parking in the basement of the hotel with a special arrangement for the hotel guests which is very good as well. Front desk is very helpful. All in all we had a great time.

Good location. Excellent bed. Best sleep on the trip. Quiet. Great view of palace. Spacious room. Clean. Kitchenette is useful. Towels are old and gray and even torn. Needs replacing. Air conditioning is centrally controlled so during shoulder season it may be hot when its turned off. Need to open windows and bear with noise and dust.

Breakfast was excellent. Our host Vicky was most charming and helpful.

If you fancy something different for accommodation in Madrid, but don't want to rent a whole flat from Airbnb, the ApartoSuites Jardines de Sabatini are an excellent alternative.

Our party of 2 adults and one child (aged 12) had Room 38, which included a comfortable and large sitting room with TV, sofas, dining table and kitchenette, plus master bedroom and bathroom, plus entrance. A rollout bed was provided for our child.

The hotel is dotted with quirky art, and looks great. There is an amazing roof terrace with bar, which has incredible views over the Palacio Real.

It's a short 5-minute stroll away to the Palacio Real through the beautiful Jardines de Sabatini, and therefore close to the main shopping streets, the wonderful Mercado de San Miguel, Plaza Mayor, etc.

The buffet breakfast was great value at €9 or so (cheapest if booked for the whole stay), including tea/coffee/juice, hot options (sausage, bacon, eggs), cold meats, cereals, pastries, etc. (Note that breakfast doesn't open till 8am on weekends.)

We will definitely return here for our next Madrid trip.
