The food is truly amazing and authentic. Service is warm and friendly.
And it is very good value for money. We came here twice in the past three days.

Unfortunately the location is a bit hidden and not easy to find, but Google Maps will get you there.

It is definitely worth while walking the extra 100 meters away from the little square.

What an experience!! We went with high expectations due to the reviews previously searched... but what can I say!! Just wow!! Service was impeccable, dishes were amazing, and the price was reasonable to say at least. Will definitely come back as soon as we have the opportunity to do so.

Barajas is a real town with a lovely little square. The buildings in the town are not as beautiful as so many are in Madrid, but it has an authentic feel of a working community. Around the corner is Kathmandu. It is pretty new, and Spaniards for the most part don’t eat a lot of spicy foods, so it is crowded now only on weekends. That will change once it gets better known and once the hotels recommend a more daring cuisine.
My husband and I stayed in an airport hotel the night before an early flight and had dinner st Kathmandu. We were so happy with the surprise of our excellent dishes. Even those crackers with condiments that you get first were really good Then we ordered two of the three specials, something called Momo, which is a steamed chicken thing that looks like a dim sum steamed dumpling. Inside was a wonderful, fairly spicy chicken concoction - maybe eight of them - accompanied by a Nepalese sauce. It was a terrific dish. The other house specialty we ordered was a vegetable dish that included little bowls of saag, daal, raita, and a vegetable medley. I got an Indian beer called Cobra which, though I am not a beer connoisseur at all I thought was very good.
I have never eaten Nepales food as good as we did tonight. We will probably repeat this adventure of staying in the town of Barajas before our flights out of Madrid.
