We stayed here on the last leg of our trip for one night and we would highly recommend this hotel. The thing that set it apart from other hotels was the level of attention from the staff. Everyone was very friendly and ensured we had everything we needed for a great stay; nothing was too much trouble.

The rooms were very nice and the view we had over the port was beautiful as described by the receptionist. All in all, excellent.

A wonderful hotel in a great location. Clean, modern & good facilities. Staff were so helpful & couldn't do anymore to assist us with our enquiries. Alberto on reception in particular was amazing. He gave us fabulous restaurant recommendations, directions to the bus station, advice on visiting the cies islands & more. Definitely should get employee of the month!

We stayed 3 nights in this hotel. Location is about a 25-30 min walk from Vigo Guixar station. Bit hilly so if you aren't into walking up hills take a taxi. The closer station is Vigo Urzaiz which is about a 10 min walk to the hotel and less hilly but also has taxis. The hotel is located about a 10 min walk to puerta de sol.

The room is modern and clean. There is a minibar fridge you can store small things in. There are 2 supermarkets and a bakery about a 2 min walk from the hotel. No noise from outside as it is on a quiet road. Inside is the usual noises when you stay in a hotel.

The reception gives you a warm welcome and fresh water in the lobby was always great to have after walking around. We had breakfast at the cafeteria in the hotel (desayuno ejecutivo) which was 2.95 eur. We did not use the pool (weather varied) but did go up to see the view which is spectacular.

Definitely would stay here again.

We visited this hotel in June and we were very impressed with the layout/food and staff. We will definitely be back! ! The hotel was very clean and had a modern feel, the views from the roof were amazing. To add to this they had a delightful little pool. The drinks were good and for a city break it was not expensive.

Stayed in Hotel Axis for 4 nights, we were a party of 3 couples, one couple staying at a different hotel due to booking at different times. I cannot fault this hotel, even when our friends came to visit they were happy to answer there questions and happy for them to sit up at the pool. The hotel is very clean, rooms were cleaned every day. Hotel staff were very friendly and there if you needed help with anything, especially Borja who worked on the front desk, he was always smiling and asking if everything was ok with our stay. We would ask for an ice bucket as our fridge in our room wasn't the coldest and each day it was never a problem. The gym was big and had everything.
There is a cafe right opposite the hotel which was very cheap for food and drink, a sandwich/toastie/burger was less than €5. For wine it was very cheap €1.30 for a glass. Less than €2 for a beer.
You are about 5 minutes to the Old town for food and drink and the shops. Then 10 minute to the harbour.
We went to Samil beach which is 30 minutes on a bus (bus fare €1.33 each way) the beach is beautiful and they have swimming pools, only a few cafes to eat from but again very reasonable priced.
Overall I would highly recommend Hotel Axis, it was very well priced and great location.
