When booking our stay, we asked about accessability, to be told yes we have a lift. Not once was it mentioned in the communication that there was a flight of stairs to access the lift. I have a physical disability, and this is unacceptable, please state that its not suitable

I do not think this is a hotel. There is a receptionist at the front door and then a dark set of stairs leading up to the rooms. On the first floor there are some chairs and some storage lockers. The rooms are adequate. The safe in our room did not work. Breakfast can be purchased and taken at a local cafe. Parking is a 5-10 min walk away in a good underground public car park and you get a discounted rate. The ‘rooms’ are well located for the town. Do check out the rates on this site as the price seemed to vary considerably depending on different days you look!!! Overall ok.

Not be able to access the hotel when you get there. Once in, it’s lovely. Small but perfectly formed. Friendly staff, really good domestic services- they work hard and it’s spotlessly clean. Very comfy beds and pillows, lovely fluffy towels. Handy features like hot drinks, water, access to a microwave, and free lockers to store your luggage are great.
Some traffic noise at times.
Easy 10 minute walk from the old
Town, and a bit less from
The station.
