This cosy hotel is at walking distance (10 minutes) from the old town, which is a must to visit. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, and the rooms and bathroom are clean. Nearby is a square with bars, from where it is nice to observe local life. Breakfast is optional and good value.
We needed a place close to the train station to hit the Dali museums. This was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the service was fantastic. The friendly couple who runs the hotel were very accommodating. They let us check in early and held our bags for 5 hours the next day. I highly recommend this hotel if you need easy access to the Renfe trains.
If you go to Girona by train, the hotel is very near, approx. 5 min walking distance from train station. Good place to spend the night when arriving late or leaving early with train. It was also very convenient to visit old town and other main attractions - it is about 15 min walking distance. The hotel itself is not directly in the centre of the city.
The service was nice and friendly, the room was clean. Wi-Fi was ok, even on higher floors.
If you arrive the hotel by car (as my travel companions did), note that parking on the street is not possible and the parking is not free. However, there is a convenient parking house just next door to the hotel and you can get a discount if you ask the reception. Would definitely recommend this hotel to budget traveller!
Arrived Girona Airport late at night. Got last bus to Girona-25 min journey. 3 minute walk to Hotel and a warm welcome. Stayed 2 nights. Very friendly and helpful staff. All over Catalonia we found that all people were really friendly and only willing to assist. Hotel was excellent re location etc, to bus station,old town, restaurants. Rooms though maybe a little bit small but you must remember the cost of same. Really clean + good wi fi. No problem recommending to friends and foes . Ideal for a short stay and Girona is a nice city
Excellently located hotel, right in the centre of Girona and 5 mins walk from the old historical town. Very friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Large room with balcony, free wi-fi, English tv, air con etc, everything you need. Would definitely stay there again.
