The “menu del dia” or “menu of the day” is a great value here. The portions are good and the food is prepared well. I recommend you order the red wine (included with the menu of the day). You’ll be pleasantly surprised when you receive a 700ml jug of decent Spanish wine!

The service was good and everybody was friendly. The customers are a mix of tourists and local business people. I would definitely go back!

Really Nice Place and Great Staff. The only downside is the combination of Musicians and Beggars that serve up poor sub-standard music in a bid to raise Money. They are not quite as bad as the Able Bodied Beggars, but they sure come close!
Restaurant Starter was a well filled plate of Iberico Ham and Make your own Tomato Flat Bread with Garlic>My Wife is quite Proficient in this Bread finalizing now. It also goes well with most of the Meat Sliced Starters we have. My Lamb Steaks were great and as usual came with Baked Potato, just need to educate the Country a little in the greater use of Vegetables. Not this Restaurants fault, a general issue in most pars of Spain.
My Wife had Paella, not my favorite when flavored by Seafood, however she Loved it and to the Waiters amusement even scraped the Rice from the bottom of the dish!
Great selection of Beers including San Miguel Selecta, that I did not know even still existed!
Great outside venue that was cheaper than expected, even with the poor value on our currency.

This restaurant chain specializes in the preparation of Calcots, a cross between spring onion and leeks ( which we call Naga Negi in Japan ). Calcots are a winter vegetable and therefor only available in the cold season. The preferred preparation is charbroiled and served on a large plate sort of burnt looking. The charred part needs to be peeled of a bit and to eat the calcot one dips it into a dipping sauce, usually a Romesco sauce. It's a bit messy, but the restaurant provided bibs and rubber gloves. A true necessity, trust me.
We loved it eating outside under a tent in the middle of Rambla de Catalunya.

Sat outside people watching on the Rambla, waiting staff were very attentive. Mussels to start, then chicken paella were all very good.
Great little find!

Recommend checking out this tasty and reasonably priced tapas bar in central Barcelona. Had the gazpacho and seafood paella, both of which were above average. Great people watching during dinner.
