This is a small hotel, although outside looks a quaint hotel, it is modern simple and basic rooms inside with flat screed tv, we stayed in room #9 on October 16-18th. The staff are very helpful special mention to Alex. There are a lot of restaurants nearby i.e. asian, italian, middle eastern, etc.
The room we had have a large window and small balcony, the room and the bathroom was cleaned everyday.
It is close to Sagrada Familia
I highly recommend this if you are on a budget and want a clean and comfortable room.
Definitely I will use this hotel again.

Room tip: Get room with balcony and window.

Location was very central and took 15min to walk from Plaza Catalunya and 10min from Sagrada Familia. Hostel staff was very nice and welcoming, room was excellent and price was affordable with two people in one room. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and if I go to Barcelona again I am coming here again.

If I want to find any critique regarding our stay I would say that the walls were not the most soundproof ones, we could hear when people entered the hostel and when they talked in the corridor. However the hostel and the other guest were very calm overall.

Pros: Location was decent, basically around the corner from a subway station (L2-Tetuan), with a few shops/cafes around, and a gas station across the street--good for stocking up on drinks/snacks at all hours. My room had a bathroom with a shower, and a nice little balcony.
Cons: no safe, fridge, or tea kettle, and the TV didn't have a single English-language channel, but these were hardly deal-breakers.
Catalunya Square is about a 10 minute walk, and the Sagrada Familia is also a short walk away.
Tip: if you're taking the R2 train from the airport to Passeig de Gracia station, DO NOT try transferring to the L2 subway there, it's a nightmarish maze of escalators, stairs, and tunnels; getting out and walking to Gran Via and taking a bus east a few stops to Tetuan is a better idea; to get back to the R2 train, get the number 7 bus on Gran Via to Pg de Gracia and Arago Street, where it's an easy elevator ride down to the R2.

We had booked a nice, on arrrival clean doubleroom, including toilet and shower of adequate size, again in clean condition on arrival, and a balcony just large enough for two people. Friendly service on arrival late in the evening (23.00), and quick respond on email beforehand regarding conformation of payment. Location of the hotel is perhaps a little too far for convenience from the Placa Catalunya, where the airport bus stops, when you have heavy luggage - the balcony was a rather noisy place - the lobby was empty most of the time during our stay, which could pose a problem if you lose your keys - and the room did not get cleaned during our 7 nights stay, which i suspect would bother some people. But with the location of a local supermarket close by (downstairs, next door), free wifi, and pretty close to the La Sagrada Familia and within walking reach (unburdened by luggage) of the Rambla and several restaurants, the money is nevertheless well spent.

A simple and comfortable tiny hotel. Great location, 10 mn walk from Sagrada Familia and Casa Battlo. Plenty of small restaurants around for a breakfast or dinner.
Very helpful and caring staff. Upond demand, you can leave your luggage before chek-in/out.
