Loads of great eating and drinking here and a good place to hang out with the locals. There are some interesting shops too.

Perhaps my favorite BCN neighborhood, very old, quirky, full of interesting sights, cute shops and lovely cafes and restaurants. Almost as tourist-filled as Bari Gotic, though. A must-see for those visiting the city.

I loved this area, my favourite in Barcelona. Lots of little streets with many boutiques and little cafes & restaurants. I could walk around there for days!

El Born has everything - excellent bars, restaurants and cafés, wide variety of boutique shops and historical sites/museums. Great for people watching and just wandering through the winding streets and alleyways. Morning, noon or evening it's a great place to visit.

We stayed in the area years ago and were keen to revisit it.. it's so cool looking, so I'm happy to re-explore the area. Lots of churches, shops and eateries amongst the winding narrow streets.
