Not sure if this is the best value for a 3 star. However there are some pluses eg well located near Mid La Rambles and the Market and lots of restarants serving paella, fast food and trinkets. Certainly there is a good tapas bar just next door to the hotel and it is quite smart looking crowd eating here.

I do not like the inner room allocated as the window opens up in an airwell (meaning no view and perhaps unncessary worry).

The walk along the corridor to your room coulld be eerie after a late nite as light sensors are inoperative.

Last not least there is no free internet access even at lobby.

"Different srokes for different folks "- really and there are plenty of other choices of hotel.

Me and my husband stayed at Rialto Hotel for only one night in July .I have to say that the main quality of this hotel is it`s location, it is very close to La rambla street 200 m maximum .The room is quite big , clean and the bathroom is ok .Also the breakfast was very good.I would recommend this hotel for those who want to be close to the busy streets and La Rambla

This hotel is great value for money. The hotel is located in the Bari Gothic: the Medieval neighbourhood. The hotel is approximately 50 metres from La Rambla and 20 metres to Plaza san Jaume and the cathedral. There are also quite a number of restaurants in the street. As the street is a busy pedestrian area, we felt quite safe at all times.
The rooms are quite small, but extremely clean and have very nice upgraded bathrooms. As with every hotel: not all rooms are equal. Make sure you request either a street view room (which have a balcony) or a room looking into the internal courtyard, as some just open into a smal lgrubby light-well.
The breakfast is the best we had on our holiday....cereal, fruit, eggs, bacon, sausages, toast etc etc....
The staff was helpful and professional, with lots of suggestions on what to see, and had a daily weather forecast displayed. They also allow you to leave your luggage there when you check-out.

The hotel has excellent location is in the center of Barcelona, the street is not open for cars, but they can entry. The problem that we had there is that the air conditioner wasn't working and it was a very hot day.The room didn't have fridge. In the basement where they serve breakfast is amazing .

Room Tip: small, not so beautiful.
