Owner description: Casa Mila, popularly known as La Pedrera, is a most unusual building, constructed between 1906 and 1912 by the architect Antoni Gaudí (1852–1926) and declared UNESCO World Heritage in 1984. Today it is the headquarters of Fundacio Catalunya La Pedrera and houses a cultural centre that is a reference point in Barcelona for the range of activities it organises and the different spaces for exhibitions and other public uses it contains. A visit to La Pedrera, landmark building and container, gives us a better understanding and appreciation of architecture and transports us to the period when Antoni Gaudi lived.

Very interesting attic, of course, does not impress so much inside. If it is awesome to think that before the cars could go up inside. A little expensive the admission fee.

We regret that the visit to Casa Milà has not lived up your expectations. We want to inform you that La Pedrera is the only exhibition space in Barcelona devoted to all Gaudí’s work. In total you can visit 4,500 m2 divided between five floors of the building, including the Roof-Terrace, the Espai Gaudí (the attic), The Pedrera Apartment, the Courtyards and the Main Floor (former residence of the Milà family and now a temporary Exhibition Hall).
Sincerely,

Barcelona is a city of Gaudi masterpieces and house. Casa Mila is one of them. Beautiful and little gothic style architecture. Surely a good visit.

I really enjoyed visiting Casa Mila/ La Pedrera and recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona. Visually beautiful and the audio tour provides background information which adds depth to the visit.

The house is very pretty, but for the price, it doesn't blow you away. I would recommend Gaudi's other works in Barcelona instead.

We visited this after having seen Parc Guell, La Sagrada Familia, and Casa Battalo. I believe it is one of Gaudi's later works, and it is awesome. There is a period-decorated apartment that is part of the tour. Again, buy tickets ahead of time online, and get the audio guide while there. For a special treat, check out the cafe on the ground floor of the building. Great place for a coffee, drink or lunch.
