This hotel is situated right next to the viaduct offering an essy , scenic stroll into town. The interior rooms are a little dated offering a glimpse of faded grandeur however the surrounds and communal areas are charmingly old world with a beautiful courtyard to have a drink and while away the hours. The breakfast was continental but offered a wide variety of meats, breads, cheeses, fruits and pastries and one of the better ones we've had in Spain. The room was clean, shower hot and powerful and bed was comfortable. The only gripe was a 4€ hire charge for a kettle per day which seemed a bit outrageous for something that usually included in a 4 star plus hotel but has happened in a couple of the hotels we have stayed in so maybe a Spanish thing. Really enjoyed an evening night cap in the lovely lounge.

Well located close to the main spot of the old city, the roman aqueduc, the hotel is 15 mn walk of the crowded and touristic area. Clean room, efficient staff, the hotel is confortable and quiet. Breakfast is a continental one and not the better you can expect in a four stars. Nevertheless, a good place to stay.

A nicely located hotel withing walking distance to the historic centre of the city. Athmospheric since the hotel is part of an ancient monastery. Friendly reception and everything is very well worth the price.
Clean rooms and easy parking on a parking lot in front of the hotel. The only thing I wish for is a slightly better picking choice at the breakfast buffet.

The room was spacious but not the most comfortable of beds
The breakfast was terrible, aside from limited options, there were hardly any fresh produce, canned fruit salad!! Also the breakfast area and seating was depressing, for a beautiful castle, it felt like sitting in a cantene
The staff was top notch and very kind and helpful, the laundry lady charged nothing for some of our clothing items.
Lunch was very good and we stumbled upon the wine that is now our all time favourite!

Room tip: Ask for a modern newly renovated room, because they automatically put you in an old one

We arrived at this hotel and found that that staff were rather unfriendly. No one offered to assist us. We have been traveling in Spain for 3 weeks now and this is the first hotel we have come to where staff are unresponsive to clientele. Rooms are shabby and dated. Breakfast provided is average. 15 minute walk into town but it is an uphill walk all the way so would not recommend it to anyone with walking issues. You can get a kettle in your room but the hotel feel the need to charge you 4 euro a day for it. Would avoid this place if coming to Segovia.
