BUT... if you’re larger than 6 ft, 180 lbs, you’ll have difficulty entering your bathroom.

The bathroom door only opened 90 degrees... which SHOULD BE ADEQUATE... except for the fact that the sink sticks out half-way into the bathroom, 2 inches past the door. Basically, the designer/construction foreman made sure the door opened past the sink, and they placed the toilet behind the door.

SO... if you are skinny: no problem. If you are middle-aged and have a “Dad- bod” — it might be a slight problem. Anything OTHER THAN THAT... FORGET IT!!

BUT... there still is a bidet. IF you can climb over the sink to get it it.

And the shower is past the bidet. IF you can get to it.

Great location, in the old town but just away from the busy areas. Suburb review of cathedral from my room. Helpful staff. Room a good size. Accommodation to a good standard. Shame viewing area on top floor was closed for maintenance when I visited as the views would have been terrific.

Outstanding location, great accommodations, gentle staff, good prices and tasty, varied and very special breakfast.
Casa de los linajes was the right choice to make the two days we stayed in Segovia even better.
By the medieval facade we couldn´t imagine the high quality services we were going to find inside.
It´s was a bit hard to find the way to the hotel and then to the parking lots, but that´s because it´s located in the middle of the old city, were many of the streets were narrow and one way. On the other side, we could easily walk to all the city attractions.
The staff deserve compliments because we could feel they were really worried in making our stay just perfect. And it was.

the place is pretty nice and clean. room was small but not too bad. location was good. major attractions were nearby. breakfast was very good. the room next to me had some kids playing at strange hours and i could hear them all the time i was trying to sleep. if you have good neighbors this hotel would be a great place to stay. a bit pricey but then that seems to be the norm for segovia hotels.

Room tip: avoid the 6th floor as you have to walk up from the 5th.

This hotel could easily be rated a 4 star. My husband & I arrived early by train and, to our surprise, our room was ready! Our room on the sixth floor had a veranda with great views of the countryside and the Alcazar. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the shower was great. Our room was very quiet and we enjoyed three restful nights. House-keeping was excellent. The front desk spoke fluent English and was very helpful with assisting us during our visit. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety of choices including hot dishes. My only complaint was the slow expresso machine. Quite a line would form waiting for the expresso machine to perform it's magic. Every night my husband & I enjoyed the romantic sunsets over the Alcazar and surrounding countryside. We had a lovely stay!
