Great location, beautiful building, fantastic modern bedroom in an old building. We have stayed in similar hotels on this holiday and the bedrooms have always let them down but this room was light and airy and the workmanship was brilliant. Dinner, great value for money.

I was unfortunately here for only one night, as it was an absolutely stunning establishment!
The rooms are somewhat stark, however that is where the charm lies - you feel you may be in an old monk's cell - however this one has a very comfy bed and a well appointed bathroom.
The reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating.
I had breakfast in the morning here - it was very well catered with loads of different yummy food items.
Before having breakfast, I had a look around, and was quite disappointed I wouldn't still be there for the free 11am tour, as the buildings and grounds were absolutely breathtaking!

Located in an old castle, beautiful hotel, great location in the heart of the old Town of León, spacious clean rooms with free parking right at the front of the hotel....
No safe in the room, no tea or coffee facilities, air con didn’t work,
Not what you expect from this kind of a hotel but you pay for the location I guess..... grand one night stay

This mid-range hotel is set within an historical precinct, and has been meticulously incorporated into the precinct with great care. It's previous life was that of a monastery, and much of it's former life, it's antiques and it's stunning art collection is there thoughout the hotel to enjoy. A unique bonus for the traveller. Breakfast was a delight; service was more than adequate and the accommodation was of a high standard and spotless. Easily able to be highly recommended. Well done to the Staff and the management.

Room Tip: Off any of the main corridors: foot traffic on the wooden floors at night can be noisy.

I went for a long weekend with my husband last month and I was astonished with this spectacular historic building, and right there, in the city centre. The service was also great, everybody was very helpful and professional so we'll definitely be back, and hopefully soon. I'm very impressed!!
