Stayed here while driving through Spain. Driving and parking in this area can be a challenge due to limited access and loads of tourists. Parking here was actually a lot better than it seemed at first. We arrived at what turned out to be a small public parking area right in front of the hotel which was jammed with cars. Fortunately they had convenient parking right next door. The hotel is built into the walls of the city and has convenient access to the city. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds were very attractive and a pleasant place to be.

Great Location, walkable from Toledo Train Station. We took about 15 mins to reach the hotel, a lot of up and down slope on the way. Sights eg. The Cathedral of Toledo, Santa Cruz Museum was within walking distance.
When i check in to my room, the air conditioning was not working. Have abit of trouble communicating that to the counter staff as they are not well-verse in English. The staff manage to help to rectify it by night.
The hotel is very beautiful. However, i find the room condition alittle too old.

The hotel looks like a castle and is set behind a beautiful courtyard. The period features continued in the room, which was also very clean and spacious. The reception staff were helpful and welcoming. The only downside was the complementary breakfast. We had breakfast at 10am on two consecutive mornings - which we thought was a reasonable time given that we were on holidays. The breakfast finished at 10:30am, and it was clear that the breakfast staff weren't interested in replenishing the bread, milk, cured hams etc from 10am onwards. The hotel has great access to the sights of Toledo and we would certainly recommend it to others.

We arrived in the dark but the morning showed us the beautiful grounds and convenient location of this lovely hotel.
Despite the hour we enjoyed 3 very filling tapas dishes and lovely Rioja wine from Haro in the ground floor bar - lovely and friendly barman. Our ground floor room was big enough and quiet. Hotel location is just a few metres from the quirky escalator which takes you up to the old town, and back.
Car park is cheap but chargeable from 10am - which is sensible.
Recommended.

Our trip started and ended with Luis Miguel, the receptionist who guided us to the hotel, gave us great advice about where to go, where to eat, and how to get there. When we checked out, he contacted our rental car company to intervene in an almost-crisis, helped us locate last-minute stamps, and guided us out of Toledo and directly to the airport in Madrid. We encountered many friendly concierges in our 10 city tour of Spain, and Luis was most likely the best.

The room was clean, attractive and - most importantly - comfortable. The hotel gardens were wonderful. Chose to rest in room one morning instead of being a tourist because the hotel was so comfortable.

DO NOT PARK IN THE FRONT OF THE HOTEL!! Unload your bags and find somewhere else. We thought we understood when money was needed for meter, but we did not and we got a ticket. A 60 euro ticket!!!

Breakfast was pretty poor, but the room and service just outweighed this issue.
