We; checked in around noon and were so excited. Beautiful hotel, great setting although a bit out of town, you have a great view looking back at the old city. We had a gorgeous patio that looked over a ravine and the cathedral and Alcazar of Toledo.

Headed into town to see the sites and it was very hot. 34.5 degrees C, and 94 F. After a nice day of sightseeing, we came back and it was really hot in our room. We cranked the air and after an hour it was still really hot so I checked out kids room next door and they were hot too. I called the front desk to see if someone could check out our air. The nice lady at the front desk said the whole hotel was hot but that it would be fixed tomorrow by mid-day. Oh and one more thing she said, we need to make sure that you shower or use any water you need before 10am because at 10 tomorrow we are going to service our water system.
I don't really care how beautiful your hotel is if the a/c doesn't work and you can't take a shower after 10. What a shame they didn't tell us when we checked in, we could have stayed elsewhere.
We sweat in our bed until around 1am when it was a little cooler outside and we could open our windows and get some air, but still it was a night of very little sleep.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I´m personally sorry for the inconveniences, but we have a issue out of our hands with our air conditioner.

Best regards,

Juan Díez.

The hotel is very pretty, moderately priced and has great views of the city. Parking is free and the city bus stop is right outside the door, making it easy to get into Toledo. The room was spacious and has a refrigerator, but air conditioning is not great. The hotel restaurant is only open when the hotel is busy and there are no restaurants nearby. We got a rate with breakfast included, but breakfast was also very limited due to low hotel occupancy. You really need a car to stay here!

This hotel, placed in an typical ancient-style Castilian building is a medium-small size hotel with impressive views of the Imperial and former capital of Spain. Medium size rooms and bathrooms combining traditional and modern furniture and decoration. Really friendly and helpful staff make their best to feel yourself at home. The hotel is located in a quite are, but far from the old Toledo so you will need a taxi whenever you want to get to and back from the old town. I was assigned a room with unspiring views to a parking lot and I needed to close the windows shutters in order to keep some privacy and not seen from the road or the parking lot. I suggest to ask for rooms with better views than the one I was assigned. Breakfast buffets is dissappointing: the variety and choices of food are rather poor. Wifi is not free unless you are a member of the Marriott fidelity program.

First impression of this hotel is good with external free parking (although limited), and it gets better with the extremely helpful and pleasant reception staff. Our room overlooked the city and had a large balcony where we sat until sunset drinking a local vintage. The room was large enough, with a well appointed bathroom, and was clean and tidy. The continental type breakfast was extensive. A local bus stops directly outside the hotel as . does the Hop on Hop off service. In summary, a lovely hotel in a good location offering a good nights stay at great value. Highly recommended as is the city, which is quite simply beautiful.

Room tip: City view with balcony

The reception staffwere very efficient and helpful.
The hotel room was spacious enough with basic amenities but with comfortable bed. The bathroom was fine but the bath towels were somewhat thin. It had a lovely outside large balcony with a view to Toledo. The location is excellent for three reasons. Firstly it is quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Toledo with its tourist from all over the world, not forgetting the thousands of day trippers from Madrid. There is a bust stop right outside where a bus will take you into Toledo every hour for 2.80 Euros and takes 12 to 15 minutes. Secondly, you have only a 5 minute walk to a wonderful restaurant called the RESTAURANTE HIERBABUENA. Thirdly, you are a short drive from the Parador where you can enjoy a drink on the terrace looking over the whole of the old town of Toledo and just a minute or so further on to the Mirador de Valle viewing point .
WiFi is free if you are a Marriott member and book directly on their website.

Room tip: Request Toledo views with balcony
