We arrived at Santander via a Brittany Ferry and almost immediately fell in love with the place. The Hotel Bahia was near to the port so we didn't have to drive far to reach it. Parking in the underground car park nearby was very cheap and seemed pretty safe. The Bahia was excellently located and we didn't need the car for the rest of our stay as everything was in walking distance. The Hotel rooms were spacious and tastefully modernised with excellent bathroom facilities. Both Jesus and Pedro on the reception desk were extremely helpful. An excellent choice of Hotel after a rocky night on a ship (not recommended). The Bahia was very well priced at €99 per night for the two of us through Bookings.com. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely time at this centrally located, quiet and luxurious hotel. The rooms on 10th floor were superb and so spacious. We have not encountered rooms so spacious in Spain for a while . Nothing too much for hotel staff. Can't praise too highly. Lots to do in Santander and environs without tourists

Stayed 3 nights, Great room, lots of space, well appointed. Helpful staff, low level bar and cafe, easy access, Great views. 1 not so good (Not hotels fault) if u have a room facing the bay the art building across the street has a huge outdoor TV that they play from 10am to 12am w/ sound... make naps and early bed folks tough.

Stayed here in September after arriving on the ferry. Hotel is very close to the ferry port. The rooms are very modern and quite. We had a room facing the church and main concourse and heard no noise. There is a bar which serves meals and drinks and the second floor has a room for breakfast which serves hot and buffet food.

Car parking is underground and is tight and if using motorcycles as we were you can just about squeeze 3 in one bay. We had 5 bikes so booked two spaces.

We would be happy to stay here again.
