Main bad things: reception people are terrible at speaking English and they don't provide any help in most cases. AC unit in the room works always and they said it cannot be switched off. No safe in the rooms. Wi-Fi is expensive and very, very slow - arount 3/1 Mbs. 15 EUR for 7 days...

There are also good things: big outside pool (cold), buffet, rooms and the lobby. I wouldn't say the rooms are very luxoury and so on, but the look nice and feature enough room. Car rental and tiny store is right in the lobby, so you don't have to even leave the hotel to buy something or rent a car (there are other car rental businesses opposite the hotel as well). They have a nice SPA with massage which is great, and basically every room has a good view to the outside, since Tenerife is beautiful whatever point you look at it.

Their buffet is also nice - lots of foods and drinks, that may sometimes be just old water with some weird objects swimming in there :).

Conclusion: if you're not interested of using Wi-Fi and want a decent place to stay in Tenerife, it is a god option. The beach is also only a little walk away.

Room Tip: Pick a room that is as close to the elavator as possible

Dear guest. Thank you for your comments. The AC is centralized, but you can turn it off anytime. All rooms have a safe in their wardrope. In reference to the wifi, we are working to improve to get a better signal reception. We hope to have it solved soon.
Thanks for choosing us, and best regards.

Gorgeous clean hotel. Food choices are amazing. Pool lovely to dip into. Plenty places to visit and very short walk to Loro Parque. Also very close to the lovely black sand beaches. Free bus offered into town stopping at the main shopping centre. Plenty of places to eat out if required. Would highly recommend this part of Tenerife to anyone.

I booked this hotel & then the the reviews. I was then filled with dread, with no need!

The hotel communal areas are lovely. I have read reviews & heard people while I was there complain about everything being in Spanish......erm, it is Spain!

The rooms are a little tired & could do with a fresh coat of paint but they were cleaned everyday. The cleaning staff where always polite & friendly. Their work could not be faulted.

The reception staff where nothing to report. They completed the check with ease. They were not over friendly but neither were they rude.

The food ok. Plenty of choice but very repetitive, but there was always something to eat & plenty of it. After a week I was ready for something else. If I returned I wouldn't go all inclusive as we passed lots of beautiful restaurants in town.
The restaurant staff work exceptionally hard. Tables are cleared quickly. New table cloths put on & although they were not over friendly they were polite & very busy. I would like to see some of the English complainers be as pleasant after the long shifts these staff worked!

The pool area is small & overlooked by apartments which are not part of the hotel. We had no problem getting a sun lounger but I imagine at the height of the season it would be a nightmare.
You cannot 'reserve ' beds as the staff would leave signs on any beds & the pool manager was seen telling people off for it.

The drinks on the all inclusive are all local. The beers is nice, the vodka is ok but the cocktails are poured from a bottle. It is better to pay for these.

The entertainment at night is centred around children but it was ok. They also allow business to sell products & we were treated to a fashion show.

The spa is extra & if you want to use the indoor pool. No free WiFi but the bar over the road has free WiFi or its €20 euros for 7 days for 2 devices.

All in all it isn't a high end English 4* hotel but it's clean & cheap. They beach is a 10 mins walk & the town 20 mins.

When we arrived at the hotel (transfer times about an hour and a half ) we also thought wow....the entrance and downstairs areas are wonderful. The check in person was more interested in looking around then looking at me when we checked in.so it was rather a quick check in..dont know his name...later when l bought some Wi fi 3 days for 7 euro...which l thought should be free... l asked him some questions and all he kept saying was 7 euros please, same guy who checked us in, no smile, no friendliness
A lovely drinks bar with a lovely guy to serve you.
The rooms are pleasant but need updating.
We were there a week bedlinen not changed.
Food average, never quite warm enough, lovely chips.
Our table always seemed not to be cleared of dirty pots no matter where we sat...
People putting towels on sunbeds before 10.am and then sitting on them at 1pm , then disappearing for lunch at 1.30 to re.appear at 4 pm....not on.
The pool area was nice and clean and the kids loved it, a nice pool bar too.
The Amination boy was very enthuisastic and got people to join in.
What was so disappointing, l had left a bottle of honey rum in my room l bought Tuesday night, just had a sip of it, brought it down to the shoulder of the bottle, when we came back from the pool yesterday 4 ish it was well down the bottle......now who had drunk it certainly not me...didnt report it to reception. I couldnt prove it...but our beds were not made properly.

Room Tip: Lovely sea view

The Hotel is in Spain and as such is Spanish speaking and is of very good standard for the 4 stars it has. The room was very clean and nicely presented. The front of house staff were very helpful and when asked the information was forthcoming.
The pool was very good and the poolside bar staff were very good. All the hospitality including catering staff were very cheerful and happy.
The entertainment in the evening was family orientated and was very enjoyable. I could make a suggestion that is to put an occasional Disco or dance for the adults night on once a week.
The only thing that I could complain about was that Thomas Cook had no rep in this part of the island and no way to contact any reps except by writing to the chairman to get at a time for departure. This was very annoying. I believe that this is common to all unfortunate to travel with Thomas Cook.
The notice boards were in In German for Thomas Cook and were selling there trips fine I'm not one that is German speaking
But the hotel is rather large and is maintained very well i would like to go back there again but not with Thomas Cook. They put a pal over the end of my holiday
