Nice hotel with a very good price. Quite far from the city centre and on the hill but during the day there is a free bus service.
Rooms decent size, nice bathroom, very small kitchen, we just used the fridge.
Breakfasts nice, everyone should find something that they like.
Both swimming pools were clean and weren't very crowded.

Room Tip: Choose room on a higher floor with a sea view - there is no air condition and on that side you can get more breeze.

Me and my boyfriend needed a quick holiday as we were supposed to go to Egypt but due to the circumstances, we decided to go to Tenerife. It was the first option that we could find as holidays were sold every minute. From the airport, it took about 1.5 hours just to get to the hotel.
It was nice and clean and our 1 bedroom apartment was nice but it was just so quiet. Hardly any entertainment going on in the evening. Even during the day time, it was really quiet around the pool area.
One night I was woken up by someone who was watering the plants and it was so noisy. This was about 4 in the morning. I have to admit the breakfast was poor. I am thankful that we only had bed and breakfast accommodation. We were always out in town doing things so it balanced out a bit.
Overall it was an average hotel but I think I would recommend it to those who need a quiet and peaceful holiday in the sun.

Room Tip: Whoever has the room where the entrance of the hotel is, make sure that your sleep is not interrupted by workers!!!

Stayed for a week with my fella. Hotel room enormous and self catering area good, kettle, hob and oven, perfectly adequate. Lovely balcony. Quiet. Gardens lovely and staff, service brilliant. A small problem on arrival with room was sorted quickly without fuss. The reception staff were extremely efficient, polite and helpful with very good English. I would particularly mention Elena Hernandez who was fluent and extremely helpful. The hotel was not full and the bars lacked ambience. The bar with the great view only opened infrequently. We ate out or cooked for ourselves. There us a colony of lizards in the walls between the two branches of the hotel, very charming. It is a 20min walk or there is an efficient free bus service from the hotel into town and taxis are cheap. Lovely resort great food authentic and very classy in some places. The swimming complex on the front is fantastic.

Its our last full day at Eden Parque and we have had a very pleasant stay. The rooms are clean and bright and appear to have been refurbished within the last year or two. The reception staff are very polite and are always available.

The breakfast is varied and plentiful with omelettes or pancakes made to order. There is the normal range of cold meats and cheeses that you often get abroad as well as bacon, fried, boiled and scrambled eggs, nice baked beans, tomatoes etc. There is also a range of fresh fruit each day too.

The hotel is situated approx 1.2k (less than a mile) from the beach front and centre of town and the hotel provides a free shuttle bus every hour. We only took the bus once as its a pleasant walk downhill. It's not such a pleasant walk back up hill but a taxi from the centre is less than 4 euro. We only took a taxi once though as the 15 min walk back up hill felt like it would do us some good! There is also a small supermarket just 200-300 hundred yards from the hotel where you could get drinks for the pool as the poolside bar wasn't open when we travelled.

There are 4 pools at the hotel and we just used the one on the 5th floor as it was the closest to us so I cannot comment on the others. There is also a large sunbathing area on the 7th floor and this was ideal for us as it was next to our room and was a 30 second walk down the stairs to the pool if we needed it. At some points during the day there was only the two of us sunbathing on the 7th floor and the views are beautiful including a perfect view of Mount Teide. The pool on the 5th floor wasn't the biggest so I wouldn't like to say how it would cope in the middle of summer but as we travelled in November this wasn't an issue.

The hotel is split into two parts with the restaurant in the other part to where we stayed but it is only one minute walk along a path to get there and the path has a lizard wall along side it so overall it's a pleasant walk. We didn't eat here on the night but did meet some people who did and they said it was very nice. The cocktails in the bar are very good and only 4 euro.

We booked a day trip to the mountain with Thomsons and the tour guide Lola was very friendly and knowledgeable . The day wasn't too long and we were back at the hotel for 4pm and the cost was 29 euro each.

Overall I would recommend the hotel as its in a lovely scenic and quiet location and don't let the hill put you off as you can get to and from the hotel via bus or taxi.

The average age when we stayed was 65 plus but I would not let that put you off staying here unless you wanted somewhere a little bit more lively.

Overall a lovely hotel in a lovely location with lovely staff.

just back from a week at the Eden. overall we had a good holiday.

the hotel is exactly as it is described. a three star holiday hotel. it doesn't pretend to be anything other. if you go expecting more then you will be disappointed.

the hotel is spotlessly clean. we stayed in the Lux building which is separate from the main building. the room itself was on the third floor with okay views across the areas rooftops toward the mountains. the room was fairly basically furnished with modern style furniture. the room was a superior studio. there was a good size shower room though a bit dated and kitchenette. there was always hot water available. the corridors and common areas are dull and dated. the beds were large and very comfortable.

the restaurant was situated on the ground floor of the Lux building. we were staying half board. both breakfast and dinner were excellent with plenty of choice. I would rate the restaurant 4 star.

all the staff we came into contact with were friendly, efficient and helpful. probably the best staff I have encountered in many years of holidaying. a credit to the hotel. which is the main reason we gave a four rating.

we found the hotel very quiet which we liked. we wanted a relaxing week in the sun which is exactly what we got.

the majority of guest were German the rest were British, Dutch and Spanish. the majority were over fifty with a small amount of younger couples. there were a few families with toddlers and a handful of bored teenagers.

if you are looking for a relaxing week in the sun with good food and a pleasant atmosphere this could be the place for you. if you are a teenager or holidaying with teenagers I would suggest you look elsewhere its not the place for you.

the resort itself is a nice relaxed resort with a street café atmosphere. it is not a beach resort with a lively club scene!!

if you are less mobile you may find the hotel and resort a bit difficult to get around.

would I recommend the hotel? well each to their own I would certainly return for a relaxing break.

we booked through Thomson/Skytours. the flights were excellent stress free and on time both ways. sadly it would appear that Thomsons are cost cutting on their customer care within the resorts and hotels. there are only two reps serving the whole of Puerto de la cruz. they do not supply a rep on the coaches to and from the hotel/airport. on arrival there were reps showing guests to their transport but none when we departed! the worst part of this holiday was the coach transfers. it took almost THREE hours from finding our coach at the airport l to reaching the hotel. on the return journey we spent fifty mins. just picking up guest in the resort and in total about two and a half hours on the coach before we reached the airport. a total of over five hours out of our holiday time!!! just not good enough Thomsons. sort out your transfer system.

Room Tip: do not accept a room below the third floor of either building unless of course a decent view is not important to you.
