We stayed at Parque San Antonio for seven nights for our honeymoon in May 2018. When we arrived (after a steep climb from the central Puerto De La Cruz Titsa bus stop, be warned) we mentioned this, but the reception staff took no notice. Whilst this was disappointing, I must add that this was really the only negative interaction with staff during our stay (apart from the waiters at dinner being a bit 'pushy'), as everyone else seemed very happy, obliging and polite.

Positives

+ General appearance / upkeep. The grounds of the hotel are pretty and were very well maintained during our stay. The same goes for the interior, the rooms and everything else.

+ Dining. The complimentary breakfast service is excellent - an all you can eat buffet in a large, clean, attractive eating area. The evening meals were similar, with an immense amount of variety (some foods cycled daily), but were less impressive due to drinks costing extra (they are free at breakfast) and as mentioned above, the waiters made us feel uncomfortable at times due to removing plates / cutlery etc before we were quite done with them.

+ Damage mitigation. The room we were provided with upon arrival was disappointing - small, lots of traffic noise, tired and with a view of a wall from the terrace which had no divisions separating it from the room next to us. I noticed there was an option to pay to upgrade to a deluxe room, so I went straight back to reception to enquire about this. A well mannered gentleman was there who informed me that there were no available deluxe rooms to upgrade to, but there was another standard room that I could go and view, and that we could change to it if we liked. This was very much appreciated, especially as I was able to go and view it by myself, and the alternative room was a vast improvemnet - larger, more modern, and whilst it was still a ground floor room without an inspiring view, the terrace was more private and there was no traffic noise.

+ Value for money. This speaks for itself, and if the score out of 5 was based purely on this, the hotel would get a 4.

Negatives

- Catering for allergies. In the food hall there are signs everywhere (multi-lingual) stating that if you have any allergies please ask a member of staff. My wife has a potentially dangerous allergy to nuts, so on the first night we asked a member of staff whether a pudding had nuts in it. He told us to ask a member of the cooking staff. We did so (after having to wait several minutes, the food hall gets VERY busy) but they did not understand what we meant. Finally we managed to catch a random other staff member who was replenishing the puddings, who did not quite understand but did manage to decipher what we meant (we asked in broken Spanish and English) and gave us an uncertain answer - enough to make my wife stay away from most of the puddings for our whole visit.

- The pool. Whilst it looks nice, the pool was cold and unpleasant to swim in so we only went in it once. Also the opening times were quite poor at this time of year (May, so not exactly winter), 09:00 - 18:00, though these do improve during summer months.

- Things to do. The hotel does have a timetable of activities that it puts on, but these (along with the whole place) seemed targeted at retired couples, and since the hotel is not a particularly easy distance from the coast (vertically at least), for a couple in our early thirties we did feel somewhat out of place and 'at a loss' whilst we were at the hotel. There is however, a shuttle bus that goes into town that runs at an impressive number of times during weekdays, but almost disappeared during weekends. Overall the hotel feels like it is targeted at older German guests (of which there were a lot during our stay, which I had no problem with but I know from some other reviews on here some people have an issue with), so perhaps my criticism is only because we are not the target audience.

Overall my wife and I left happy with our experience despite the niggles and the weather being poor for most of our visit (not the hotel's fault, but affects tourist morale at any rate!).

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the main road.

The rooms are situated in a calm and green area. The buildings are maximum 3 stories high and organised in a cosy manner.
The rooms are spacy, and give view over the garden or pool.
Some of the matrasses seem te be needing replacement.
The Buffet at breakfast and dinner was good, with a lot to choose from. The meat and fish though were often quite dry.
The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

It was a great experience to stay in this hotel. Calm and very clean, I could relax very well!
20 minutes walk from the center. But to come back it's very steep, so you might want to take a taxi, or the car.
Big breakfast, but avoid the central hours, there's a crowd fighting for the food!

I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and it was a good experience. Check in at the reception was quick and easy. The room, although small was ideal for a lone traveller, it had an excellent bathroom with shower and bath and lots of good quality towels. The room also had a small balcony which got the sun all day long and had fantastic views of Mount Teide.

First: When we arrived here the Place is really preatty and nice just like in the pictures on Tui:s web pages.
We walked around the pool and garden inhaled holiday air before we went UP to our room In B section.
Open the door to our room and got realy disappointed. It was not at all as in the pictures on Tui:s web site infact there were no picture of it.
So this was one of the oldiest scam s I felld in.
You can get the rooms on the web site but You have to UPDATE.
IF I had knew it before I would have Updated.... SO BE WARNED of these pictures....
Well I got what i paid for an balony and an AC that worked but did not produced any thing.....
Second: We went on Media pension and to eat was a Caos until we disovered the signs outside the restaurant and went eating on GREENTIME, not an golf therm.
No Caos only peace and good food.....
Third and almost last: My ratings on tripadvisor is max. 3 stars for the room and one for the garden and personal.
Room got one star beause the company provide balcony as I paid for. Garden and the Personal and cleaning where great:
AND FINALLY:
Un agradecimiento especial a Agueda en la recepción, así como a Carla y Esteban en el restaurante que escucharon mi mal español, GRACIAS.
