We booked here for our final few weeks in Lanzarote, mostly to experience Carnival and to explore the area. The apartment is lovely, spotlessly clean and most comfortable. Great balcony with views and sunny all day, plus a rooftop terrace.
Best of all are the staff, a very friendly and helpful female workforce who give 100% all the time. They looked after my husband’s bike and gave us loads of helpful information.
Even had informal Spanish lessons from the cleaners!
They supply excellent wine, water, beers etc at supermarket prices.
And we’d really appreciated the non smoking policy in all areas.
Highly recommended.

We chose Islamar apartments after seeing them on a previous trip and then checked TA for reviews. Stunning views from the living room and balcony. Good budget option with everything you need and plenty of space. Clean and well run. Heater provided. Extra blankets also provided when asked. Only niggles were a trip switch that was oversensitive so could only run one of heater or cooker or kettle. Layout didn't permit pushing single beds together so wouldn't suit everyone. Really close to restaurants and supermarket. Great value option.

If you don't fancy the "Irish Bar" "Egg and Chips" and "Karaoke" resorts, then Arrecife is definitely for you. And in Arrecife the Islamar Apartments are perfect. The location is great with wonderful sea views. You are just a short walk away from the centre of the town.
The apartments themselves are spacious and comfortable. The reception staff are very sweet and friendly. During our 11 day stay we managed to cook some great meals in the kitchen, although you need a little ingenuity as it is not really equipped for any serious cooking.
At reception they sell bottles of local wine for €5.00 and it isn't bad at all.
If you are driving, there is paid parking underneath the Gran, but if you are a cheapskate like me, ten minutes walk away there is free parking off the roundabout after the Intercambiador.

Room Tip: High floors are best

My wife and I stated for a week at the Islamar.
The apartments are opposite the sea in a great location close to the centre of Arrecife with all its lovely restaurants and cafes.
This gives you a great base to explore Lanzarote as everything is so easy to get to either by walking, by bike or by bus.
As for the apartments, staff are very helpful and are always on hand to help.
Rooms are very nice too with a spacious living area and a kitchen and bedroom off the living area. It all has what you need for the week. Shops including a Spar are close by for any foods you want to buy.
The bathroom is nice with a good shower and the very good sized balcony is a fantastic spot for breakfast and lunch, overlooking the sea.
Another positive is the rooftop terrace complete with jacuzzi...very nice.
The only negative, which the hotel can do nothing about, is the noise from passers by usually at 3.00 in the morning. This did wake us up most nights during our week.
Despite this, we would recommend a stay at this lovely apartment.

WOW!! 2 night stay but very impressed with these large, clean apartments located right on the sea front. Emailed hotel prior to arrival to request a high floor and was advised check in at 2.00 pm. Was in room 401 and had great views from my balcony. Large, spotless apartments with FREE WiFi that worked perfectly!! Also, on the 8th floor is a rooftop terrace with about 10 sunbeds and a jacuzzi/hot tub and a shower. It's not a massive area but it is a sun trap!! Big thank you to Anna on reception for her help and knowledge. Taxi to airport about €12 or the bus station is less than 10 minutes away - the bus costs €1.40. Very, very impressed with these apartments and will definitely be back. Enjoy :)
