Enough said, went on two guided walking tours, knowledgeable guides, lovely walks. You can also hike independently if you wish.

We booked 3 tour packets and 2/3 tours we booked were cancelled due to a bad weather. Other options were offered by Natour. The wild north hike we took was nice with an excellent guides, but the hike took all day even if we did the easy option. The program says the hike is 3.5 hrs but including bus trips etc it took 10 hours. So be prepared to book whole day even for shorter walks.

This company specialises mainly in walking trips and providing relevant transport but they also run maybe 4 "bus trips" and we sampled the trip to the Southern part of the island. Staff in the office were friendly and competent, there were two coaches on the day and we were split into English/Spanish and German for the majority of the day, coaches arriving on time at the pick up. Our guide whose name I have already forgotten was both knowledgeable and humorous, and her specialist Mastermind subject was flowers of La Palma. For the last part of our trip home we had to change coaches and our second guide who then had to speak in three languages was also good.

We visited four different places of interest on the tour all worthwhile and stopped in a local village for lunch. The bar we were taken into by our guide produced a cauldron of paella so that was the only choice. If you are not a Paella fan take my tip and go on your own to one of the other two or so cafes in the village, or there is a good bakers. Having said this, the Paella was just 5 euros so good value.

Although a "bus" trip we undertook both a short walk after lunch and then a longer walk later in the afternoon in the National Park which were certainly worthwhile, with great views, but if you have a mobility problem you would need to stay on the coach so probably best to check if there is a more suitable tour in the programme.

Having collected all the various brochures at our hotel we could not find another tour company running similar trips although you could probably join I would think one of the two Thompson/Tui trips to the North and North East of the island even if not on holiday with the company. However we certainly enjoyed our day with Natour and had I not thought the day a little overpriced at 42 euros I would have given them an extra star/roundel to be "Excellent".

I have just returned from La Palma and had pre booked a 3 walk package with Natour. Due to bad weather the first of the walks was cancelled but Natour offered an alternative walk which was very enjoyable and lead by Dominic. The next walk the Volcano Route was also lead by Dominic and our final walk Top of the Island was lead by Anna Maria. Both guides were very good, knowledgeable and interesting. Dominic in particular helped ‘bring alive’ the walk with his excellent stories and commentary
The company are well organised and efficient and I would definitely use them again and recommend them

We booked the day bus tour of Green Palma and really enjoyed our experience. Contrary to one of the earlier reviews we found Rosi (or Rosie - sorry for the spelling) an excellent guide. The group was small but there were Spanish, German, Dutch and English speakers; we were the only two English speakers but never felt left out. Courteously the Dutch family said they didn't need commentary in their own language so it was only three languages! I am actually Finnish so couldn't complain - the guide's language skills were very impressive.

The tour gave a really nice overview of the greenest area of the island. The highlights for us were Los Tilos forage which is an amazing untouched area and San Andre which is a really beautiful village.

Overall, I would definitely recommend the tour, we would have gone on another one if we had another week to spend on the lovely island!
