The scenery from the rim of the Caldera is totally unbelievable. Words really fail me. It has to be seen to be believed.

Good excursion, lots of stops and great scenery! Visited Church of La Virgen de Las Nieves, Taburiente Visitor Centre, La Cumbracita viewing point in to Caldera, Los Llanas De Aridane, La Palma's second town, Teneguia local Winery with tasting and San Antonio Volcano, the youngest!

Very limited parking. You have to get a free permit to visit (but not after 4.00 p.m.). Don't forget to take a sweater. To get the best from your visit you must be prepared to undertake a strenuous hike, so come prepared.
