To enter the hotel you have to climb a stairway with 21 steps, or to use an old lift for which you have to press a button and keep it pressed as long as it takes to bring the old thing down.
Rooms are small, bathroom too, the balcony is (guess:) small without chair or table.
Reception and housekeeping were quick and friendly.
There is a restaurant on the 23rd floor. Small easy chairs are fashionable but, without armrests, uncomfortable. Kitchen is no more than average. The service was just „doing a job“ during breakfast as well as lunchtime.
The gym is located on the 24th floor (19 steps), the equipment sufficient and well maintained.
The swimming pool on the 25th floor (further 31 steps) is nice and big enough with approximately 10 to 15 sun beds.
Many people seem to stay in the hotel before going on a cruiseship, and for that purpose the hotel is perfectly situated close to the harbour. The beach is also only a five minutes walk away.More
