Wanted a hotel close to Ciutadella after I realized that our holiday coincided with the annual St John festival so this hotel fitted the bill perfectly.
I am surprised that it has so few reviews on here as it is a good hotel and was quite full while we were here (because of the festival).
The hotel has a lot of charm and I did like the pool area and restaurant. Ate dinner in the hotel for 3 nights. I thought the standard of the food was very good. There was a tasting menu one night because of the festival - quite delicious. The breakfasts were really excellent - qood quality artisan meats and cheeses plus excellent pastries from a local bakery.
I could not really fault the friendliness of the staff in the restaurant or the helpfullness of those on reception.
I loved watching the peacocks wander around the grounds.
My only suggestion would be it would be nice if a basic snack menu was offered during the afternoon (eg a sandwich or salad etc) as it seems a long drive to fetch things if you get hungry at that time and can not wait for the dinner to start at 8.15pm!More
