A group of 12 stayed mid February, the hotel is in a fantastic harbour front location with great views (if you have a balcony - not all do, and you are at the front of the hotel). The rates are also very reasonable for a front line 4 star hotel.

The hotel is very large with spacious bedrooms, its a little dated but clean. The only let down for us were the boiling hot rooms.

The "air-con" only blew out hot air, there was no way to turn the heat down unless you had your patio doors open, however the road is extremely noisy.

We asked 4 times for the rooms to be cooled down and was told the engineer had come and fixed it and replaced the air-con control (which it was not!), they just placed two large industrial fans in the room which were very loud. Overall no sleep for the entire break which was a shame!

Room tip: Corner suites are huge but no balcony. Rooms at the back are quieter. 409 was boiling hot but a nice size (two beds, sofa bed & chaise).

Stayed here from 27/1 to 29/1. I was given a room on the 4th floor with balcony with spectacular views across the bay. I have stayed in many hotel in Majorca over the years and can only say, in my experience, this is the only genuine 4 star hotel but with 5 star accommodation, staff and service. I could not recommend this hotel highly enough and would put it on par with a top class London hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

had 2, 3 bed rooms for a couple of nights, the reception area is a real old fashioned oak paneled area with the old roomkey/mail slots for each room behind the desk, but there are some large contemporary art pieces there. there are quite alot more pieces in and around the hotel, and its quite a big place, with lots of areas dotted around to sit and relax. my older children enjoyed the pool table.
there is an indoor pool that we enjoyed but its a bit small (and grubby but building work was going on the adjacent stairs) really and quite chilly with no changing area or loo by the pool.
did not eat there as plenty around at better rates, the coffee and tea in the bar are tasty and well priced in fact if all you want for bfast is hot drink and pastry its better to buy it in the bar (as plenty of locals do) than purchase the breakfast
the rooms were fantastic, large and well appointed, our rooms both had big balconies.
area is nice and seemed safe to us plenty of bus stops around and taxis passing by.

Room tip: 523,525 both very good

The good things about it: location, walking distance to the city centre and great view to the port. Rooms are spacious and the shower is great.

The not so good. A bit run down, not very clean and with the very minimum to be considered a 4 star. Spa not very charming and the gym made of just a couple of machines in a dark tiny room.

Breakfast food ok, crockery usually dirty and terrible coffee and concentrated fruit juice.

Hmm...

A lovely comfortable room. Great shower. Overlooks sea. I really enjoyed my visit to this super hotel. Nice coffee and breakfast was varied and substantial. Although the sea view is great, if you do not like traffic noise, ask for a room at the back.

Room tip: If you like quiet do not ask for a room at the front but you will miss the sea view.
