We had a three night stay in this bright and modern hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the rooms spacious and clean with a very large and comfortable bed. The only downside was the very narrow window which made our room on the 4th floor (a Superior one) rather dark. Also quite a hike to the old town.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a good sized window

Read through my little tip at the end and save yourself some frustration.
After an 8 hour drive to San Sebastián we were looking forward to a cocktail at the bar. I ordered Vodka Soda with a Twist. My friends ordered Martinis. Javier started by filling the glasses with ice while he ran to the back for some additional bar supplies since he had just opened. I won’t try to explain the magic that he uses to create the cocktails but I can tell you I believe him to be the best bartender on the Planet. We canceled our dinner plans, got some food from the hotel cafe and ate in the bar while watching one of the World Cup Soccer Games. I’ve never watched even a quarter of a soccer game before but enjoyed every minute of that one. Javier’s Cocktails are truly incredible.

The Hotel is what I would expect for the price.

A little tip for those of you parking in the underground garage. When the guy at the desk hands you your room card and says you use it to open the overhead door out the front and to the left. The following will be helpful.
1) If nothing happens while swiping the card on the sensor to the left of the door check the walk through door mounted in the center of the overhead door. If it’s not latched the sensor will activate.
2) When you drive to the end of hall just before the opening there is a sensor on your left that opens the overhead door to the underground parking. The sensor next to the overhead door is for employees and you card will not activate.
3) When you drive down the ramp all the parking spots look private. Privada. There are open spots at level -4.
4) When you get to the elevator look around the left side fo the column between the two elevators. There is a sensor you must activate with your card to get the elevator buttons to light up before you push the button.

For the price of this hotel I felt it was a good value. It is clean, the staff and friendly, and in a great location with alots of food and drink options nearby. We stayed in San Sebastian for 2 nights. It is more inland and the main street the hotel is on gets pretty quite after 10pm so you can be assured a peaceful sleep. There is a resturant and bar located on the 1st floor and they offer you a welcome drink that you have to redeem with a ticket they give you upon check in. The walk to the old city talks about 15-20 minutes and is such a great way to expolore two sides of San Sebastian. We stayed in a room with a king size bed so there was not a lot of space but the batheroom was very big and spacious. The whole hotel is a "movie" theme so each room is themed after an actor or director. We stayed in the Oliver Stone room. The decor in the room is pretty minimal but you have all the basic necessities. We did not eat down stairs but we did have drinks and they are fairly priced. Overall great ambiance! I would reccomend.

Very comfortable hotel about a 15 minute walk to old city and La Concha. Rooms are large, modern (think Danish design with blonde wood floors) and spotlessly clean. Large well-equipped bathroom. Friendly and helpful front desk service (provided us with a list and map of best pinxtos in town!) Service was not quite as good in the restaurant, and the bar was small and kind of bright. But all in all, excellent value for the money.

Very large and comfortable room and spacious bathroom. And, there's a fitness center - very rare for smaller European hotels!

Staff was very helpful and responsive. But, they can't help make reservations at restaurants that take credit card numbers as they do not want to be liable. With all other reservations, they were very helpful.

Only downside is that it's about a 20 minute walk to Old Town; during our visit, it was raining so it wasn't the most fun walk. With good weather, the location would be no issue!
