The draw here is obviously the Guggenheim. You’re crazy if you stay here & don’t get a room facing the museum! It is an impressive view. We got a package that included tickets.
(Don’t overlook the quirky Fine Arts museum just two blocks away.) The staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very comfortable! The rooms are spacious and there are nice amenities. The decor is modern but not at all cold. The bed was comfortable, with two pillows. Breakfast, on the top floor veranda facing the museum, is well worth the price. The breakfast staff was very gracious and efficient and there was a wide array of foods available, including hot foods to order. And although convenient to the Guggenheim, the hotel is actually about a 15 minute walk from the new town restaurant and bar area, and a 20 minute walk from the old city, but the walk is easy and pleasant. As a hotel, forgetting the museum, this one is very nice!More
